Oh my the whold going outside to push a stroller in circles is all too familiar. We did that alot on DD's first trip when she was 2 1/2. I'm hoping DS will be better in November he will be 22 months then.

It turns out that this will not be the last little girl to catch Gabe's eye on the trip either.
I think this is soooo cute when it happens. DS is starting to do the same thing but with OLDER girls. He is 14 months. He doesn't look at the other babies but he stares down teenagers/young adults!

Love your TR! I guess I relate very well as my DS is a wild baby too. Nothing like boys!

Gabe is such a cutie!

I LOVED the POFQ and that lawn and fountain were a BIG part of every day we spent there. We always started and ended our days at the fountain

I'm glad that Gabe enjoyed the characters and sorry that you had to rush out that night. What a wonderful start to your trip

Re: "Sorry Goofy he's just grouchy..." and other adventures

I too was at POFQ last week. They told me that it was slow as well, but the bus lines were telling me a different story-so was the number of people at the food court each morning at about 7:30 or 8:00. it was packed. We were at EPCOT one night leaving, and it took 4 buses to get all of the people that were waiting in line-this did not include POR people-just POFQ...THE whole property was a zoo. I think that I needed to speak french-didn't you? I think that there were canadians everywhere>>>

ok-sorry to threadjack, back to the adorable baby!

We didn't see the crowds much at the hotel (probably because we sleep late LOL) but boy did we see them at the parks - it was crazy!

Re: "Sorry Goofy he's just grouchy..." and other adventures

On to day 2:

We decided to just let Gabe sleep as late as he could but we all ended up waking up right around 8. After some milk for Gabe we got dressed and ready for our morning at Epcot. We hit the food court for breakfast before leaving the hotel and Gabe and I shared the Croissant sandwich and grapes and DH had the sausage gravy and pancakes. It was tasty as always - I am a fan of the POFQ food court.

On to Epcot, one of my favorites. The first thing we did at Epcot was head straight to the Living Seas. We rode the new Nemo ride and we all enjoyed it. It's perfect for Gabe and he seemed fascinated. After the ride we walked around the aquarium. Gabe loves looking at the fish and he enjoyed it as always.

Re: "Sorry Goofy he's just grouchy..." and other adventures

After checking out the fishies we decided to check out Turtle Talk with Crush for the first time. It was really cute - it's amazing how that technology works. Gabe did great and sat and watched the whole show - it probably helped that I gave him a lollipop.

After finishing at the Living Seas we decided to check out the World Showcase before our lunch reservation at the Garden Grill. We had to wait a few minutes for them to drop the ropes for the World Showcase so we let Gabe run around a bit.

I love this picture because this is my typical view. I am always chasing after this crazy baby it seems.

We had a great time in the World Showcase. It was EMPTY which was really nice. We took our time in Japan and China especially because they are our favorites. We just strolled and looked in the shops for over an hour.

Here is a shot of the lovely gardens in the UK:

Re: "Sorry Goofy he's just grouchy..." and other adventures

After finihing in the World Showcase we headed towards the Land for lunch. We made a pit stop at Club Cool though for some free Coke samples. I love this area - what a great idea. Trying the different sodas from around the world is always fun.

After drinking our fill we cut through a building on the way to the Land and bumped into this guy:

Re: "Sorry Goofy he's just grouchy..." and other adventures

The Land was a mad house like usual. Soarin' was a great addition to this pavilion, but boy does it pack in the crowds.

We checked in at the Garden Grill and sat down to wait for our table. This was the least fun part of our day. We ended up having to wait about 30 minutes to be seated and there was a screaming baby waiting next to us about Gabe's age. We were terrified that Gabe was going to start up too because he was getting tired at that point, but thankfully we got through it without any major catastrophes.

I had really been looking forward to this meal. I have always wanted to eat at the Garden Grill and this was my first time. The meal went great. We loved the food (I especially loved that potato cassarole - yummy!) and the character interaction was great. Gabe did great too and was happy the whole time - phew.

I got some great pictures at lunch too.

Here's Gabe meeting Mickey for the first time:
