Of course! Now I recognize him. You think I would know this stuff as I worked at the Disney Store all through college and watched those scenes over and over and over.

And another encounter with Dale. Some kids at the table next to us thought Dale was Alvin from Alvin and the Chipmunks and Dale left and came back wearing a sign that said, "I'm not Alvin". It was cute.

Gabe's favorite part of the meal was the make your own cupcake. That cupcake didn't even have a chance - he ate it all in about 2 minutes flat.

After our yummy lunch (Garden Grill gets 2 thumbs up!) we headed back to the hotel for someone's nap time. While Gabe napped DH decided he would take a nap too so that left me with some free time. I headed over to the gift shop again and bought a frame for the picture of Gabe & Mickey together and got a refill in my mug. The weather outside was so nice I decided to sit on a bench and read. It was wonderful. I was so happy sitting, reading my book, sipping my Diet Coke and eating candy I had hidden in my purse.

It was a great way to spend an afternoon.

I'll be back later with the rest of the trip. Thanks for all the comments so far!

I am sooo glad you enjoyed Garden Grill! We are trying it for the first time in November! Gabe seems to not make a big mess when he eats. Aidan leaves behind a disaster area. It is so embarrassing at restaurants!
