08 Flower & Garden Festival Trip
First TR. 4/15-16 & 18-19. I will do my best here. Alot of work went into the planning thanks to my DW. A trip shared with her parents and our nine and a half month old son. With much planning so many things can happen before the fun starts. Like my motherinlaw's root canal going bad days before the trip, but thank goodness for anitbiotics to get things under control so GP's could enjoy this special occasion with their GS. Now with all the park planning done, our focus was flower and garden festival while giving DS his first trip Disney a special trip.

My first order of business. Put together a special luggage tag for our trip. Okay, my part was easy. I am not good at all the planning, but my DW is OCD so she can do a better job, even though it is pain staking.

I will outline the trip and come back and post highlights later.
Departure from home on the 13th to arrive offsite resort. Players - DW, ME, DS-9.5mos, FIL & MIL 14th opening of Epcot till until lunch. arrived at Animal Kingdom for parade and festival of the lion king 15th opening of Magic Kingdom til DS pooped @ 5pm 16th day off to go shopping and rest then DW and I dine at PYC. 17th opening of Animal Kingdom til lunch arrived at Magic Kingdom to see Spectromagic and retire for the night 18th opening of Epcot and stayed until DS pooped out 6pm 19th GP's leave for NC and we go back to DTD for more shopping. 20th Depart our Happiest Place on Earth to go to our other Happiest place on earth - home! Its Monday and we've gotten up early to arrive for the opening @ EPCOT!
 We love the theme for this year! We are excited about sharing this wonderful world to our son and the GP's. After entering we headed straight for The Land. Well, DW loves Soarin' and this was the only ride she cares for at EPCOT. So here's our entrance to FastPass.  So for the waiting we got into the line to go through the Greenhouse. As you can see, I think he's also excited...  |

WE thoroughly enjoyed The Land, so after a snack and some "milk" and a diaper change, we headed
over to see Crush...  It seems the milk had a good effect cause the lil one fell asleep as we cued for our clam shell... all of a sudden he wakes and enjoys a ride in the clamshell with GP's.  |

We'll as it was, time had gotten away from us so we had to bid farewell to EPCOT...
Okay, while I've taken this photo... Why was the hand and wand removed? Was this part of the refurb?  So now we head back to to our resort for a nap and some lunch before heading back out. |
