We parked the car and got settled into our room. Then we headed out to catch a bus over to MK.

The main reason we planned this trip was to meet up with a friend of mine. I gave him a call and we planned to meet at the front gate.

We just missed the bus to the MK but after a 5 minute wait a fresh bus pulled up. We got in sat down and away we went...really it was are bus, DW, me, and Rex the bus driver.

After a short wait we were all together and hit the park.

First up on the ride list was PoTC. It was a walk-on.

It was much darker then the last time I road it (last June). The tunnel before the drop was so dark we could see nutting but dark. Over all the ride is the same as it has been...the lighting was the best I have seen and the sound was great as well.

I love PoTC.

After PoTC we ate dinner at the Taco place across the way from PoTC...mmmmm tacos.

After lunch we walked on to BTM.

We thought about SM but I didn't pack protection for the electronics so no go on the second best ride in the MK.

Next we headed to the HM. WOW! The referb is great!. The sound is wonderful, the new attic scene is on par with DL HM. There are a number of other improvements but I don't want to ruin it anyone who still haven't ridden the referb'd version.

I will put out there we found a hidden mickey in the grave yard...in the crept to the right of the fat lady singing...that is all I'm saying.

side note:

Why do people feel like they need to use flash photography on the dark rides!

Next to adults gabbing non-stop about nothing this is my issue.

Those picture never come out, it irritates everyone else, as well as ruins the ride for everyone.

I think that people who do this should be thrown out of the park...ok back to the revolution.

After HM I meet up with Palmickey and friend. It was great to see both of them, it has been to long.

We had a great time talking for a few minutes until we split up. I am so happy they took a few minutes out of the schedule to meet up with me.

Next up we walked onto to Laugh Floor.

I really didn't have high expectation for this show...it blew me away.

This is a great show. Go and be a kid!

(I was the first audience member on the monitor...seems I'm hiding a 3rd eye under my hat )

Next we jumped on Buzz Lightyear which I scored over 200K and then on to the TTA.

After the TTA we walked on Space Mountain...yes again we walked on. It was rough.

Great ride as usual. Now according to rumors this ride is getting ready for a refurb. I noticed that there have been a number of new star fields added. I would say more then doubled from my last ride in June. It is still not the whole ride (like DL SM). The track is still rough and cold use a good smoothing out.

After SM we saw Philmagic and then we headed to main street for some light shopping.

We sent our friends on their way (they did AK in the morning and wanted to hit Studio and EPCOT before they left for the night).

DW and I headed back to ride PoTC and HM before we head over to the Polly for dinner.

We hopped the ferry service over to the Polly.

Hint: ferry service is great way to get around the seven seas/bay lake resorts. Learn how to use them and they will be your friend.

At the polly we looked around for Ginger but she wasn't around.

Congratulations Ginger! Sorry we missed you...And a big thank-you on the Kona Cafe recommendation!!

Yes we ate at Kona Cafe. It was great and I would highly highly recommend it.

Kona Cafe was a great cap to a great day!

We had planned on sitting on the beach and watching the EPP and Wishes but the early start, heat, and walking (ok maybe age as well) had caught up with us so we headed back to AllStarSports.
