Our server was Lyndsey (sp?) and she has been at LC for a long time.

Thanks Julie- We were having severe weather last night and I wanted to finish up before we lost power; hence the quickie format.

BW was a great place to stay, despite the long bus ride from DTD.

i too feel guilty when something doesn't meet my Disney expectations. It seems to be SO easy for them to just be WONDERFUL that when something isn't so it feels "dirty" to complain or voice dislike- like you are a traitor! I feel you!

Fun TR format! I am happy that I was actually able to finish a TR I have been so CRAZY at work that I haven't been able to do my OTJMB (on the job mousebuzz ).

I too enjoyed the format. I love TR's in any format really!

I have never stayed at Boardwalk but we always get a cab from DTD back to POR in the evening if the boat is off duty. The buses from DTD just take too long. I fell asleep on one once....sooo tired.

I am very glad there were more thumbs up than thumbs down.

But, I must admit, my last meal at Le Cellier was nothing to write home about. I just chalked it up to an off night.

We have been at CP so many times, that we have seen good bad and ugly there. Sorry it was your first and last visit there.

Thank you for the short, but sweet trip report. I was sad for your thumbs down...sad for anyone to have any thumbs down on a trip, but whathca going to do...nothing is perfect. Sorry to hear about LeCellier. It's so hard to get into nowadays and people really look forward to it...hard for anyone to accept a pooh meal when you wait so long and book so early for it..

Really sad about Crystal palace too. What meal did you have there?

She was so excited you came and said hi - she called me from the bus on her way home and said - "one of your cult members came by!" (she pretends like we're all so weird - but she LOVED it). I hope she was polite! As for LeCellier - yikes! But she was telling me that they've hired two new chefs because they are just basically - overwhelmed. It really is TOO busy. Unfortunately you might have got one of the new chefs.

As for the bus service - I totally agree - we have actually started walking through Epcot and taking the monorail to the MK. It's a bit of a walk - but it's better than WAITING and WAITING. And it's ridiculous for a deluxe hotel to have to share with 3 other hotels - especially when Boardwalk is always LAST!

I have to say the same thing about our last meal at LE Cellier it was not as good as we had in the past. I chalked it up to be Christmas Night and the Candlelight Procession.

Anyway- of course Emily was polite!! I will post the photo later!! She was very funny and a very pretty girl!! My husband thinks we have a cult here, too
