I am always amazed at how happy I can get looking at pictures from a strangers Disney trip! I think I should seek help .

Ok, tell me this, when you get back, did you feel motion sick or dizzy on the ride?

No I did not!! The sensation when the cars spin is kinda the same you get on the teacups . . . that whoa kinda feeling and then it stops and the fun begins again. BUT, Unlike the teacups you don't keep spinning, just a half spin and then a STOP!

Here is the ride in as much details as I can remember!

After you go through "Andy's Room" and see Mr. Potato Head, you go downstairs and you are directed to cue lines (they load a few cars at a time, the cars stop . . . they don't keep moving like Buzz)

Each car holds 4 people, but you sit back to back! You are then directed to the first room, where out pops the whole gang (Woody, Buzz, Jesse, etc) They tell you to take a few practice shots . . . WITH PAINTBALLS!! Pop, pop, pop . . . where you point is where it hits . . . so if you want to cover Buzz with paint you can!! Then they say ON TO THE NEXT ROOM . . .

This is where you get the whooooaoaoaoa feeling . . . not too intense, just a slight spin and then stop! Then you shoot in the next arcade!

Etc . . . etc . . . etc . . . the fun part is if you hit things you are NOT to suppose too, you are met with a fun "surprise" like splash of water or blast of air, etc!!

SO MUCH FUN!!! I HOPE YOU ALL GET TO RIDE IT SOON!!!

LOVE THE TR!!! I too can't wait to ride Toy Story Mania! DD has already decided that is where we are going as soon as we arrive in November. Thanks for the pics! Can't wait to hear about H&V as we are doing lunch there in November also.

We should start something! I'll go get some altoids and scratch all the As off and we can "prescribe" them as a treatment! Well okay, we may not cure the Disney addictions out there but we will help with the bad breath problem .

I am so glad you are posting this TR because I wont be going to Disney for another couple of years. So I wont be able to ride TSM til then... :(

Lots of pictures and my review of Hollywood & Vine

Man did my DF rib me about taking pictures . . . so I only took some!

My Review of Hollywood & Vine:

Atmosphere:
No over the top decorating or designing
50s diner look with metal tables and chairs

Friendly staff!
We had a GREAT server, attentive, brought drinks BEFORE we finished the first ones, cleared the table quickly, brought extra napkins for the kids!

Food:
Lots of variety, something for everyone. It was Hot and most dishes were very flavorful, I noticed that they were constantly refilling the containers when they would get low. There was PLENTY of seafood, which I don't eat BUT my X-DH and my friends DH said it was good!
There were salads, "chinese" style (sweet sour chicken, fried rice) a carving station, vegetables, seafood, breads

An ENTIRE dessert bar, with this delicious snickers chocolate moose with shaved white and dark chocolate on top, mini key lime pies, cherry cobbler, and lots more to choose from!

There was also an ice cream machine the kids liked, with chocolate syrup, strawberry topping and sprinkles!!

We enjoyed this place . . . it was a fast, simple buffet! Like my DF said . . . "Wow, not bad, NOT Chef Mickey's, but throw in a few Princesses, and I'd go to that all the time . . . cuz Akershus for dinner . . . blech! "

This is not a WOW restaurant . . . it's just good, simple home cookin'!

So as long as you get good service, I think all of you planning to attend with enjoy it! It came to $94 with tip for the 4 of us (XDH, Me, DD8 and DD4) we did not have any alcohol, but they have a whole menu of drinks to choose from! (gratuities were included in that total cuz we were a party of 8)
