We are headed for Animal Kingdom for the day so off we go thinking that we will hear something at 3:00pm. We head for Pizzafari, we have never ate there so we wanted to try it. I had the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich and Brenda had the Hot Italian-Style Sandwich. We also got a side of breadsticks that Brenda thought looked good and the Apple Pie. It was OK, we ate the meat off of our sandwiches but the breadsticks were good and so was the Apple Pie.

OK - I will interrupt the TR for the rest of the story.

They never called us, all day we heard nothing. All day we were walking around talking about the excuses we may hear for this. We thought of everything from maintenance needing to fix something which, we had been there a week now and we never asked for anything, housekeeping who just took a little break. We thought maybe someone came in the connecting room and our door lock would show nothing but us, and they would think we were nuts, etc. But they never called.

When we got home there was a message on the phone for us. Here is the story, maintenance came to fix the DVD player, the DVD player in room 275, we were in room 175. There was no I am sorry for your inconvenience, no I am sorry that they touched your personal items (which they had no right to play our CD), no nothing, they were just in the wrong room...end of explanation.

I am thinking of writing a letter via snail mail. Even if maintenance was in your room shouldn't they leave it the way they found it? And if you were fixing a DVD player shouldn't you have a DVD of your own to try it out? And shouldn't they respect your stuff and keep your hands off?

I guess it is not a real big deal but at the same time it was creepy not knowing who was in our room and what they were doing there. And I am sorry but even though it was not something major they still had no right to touch our personal items.

Now back to our trip report - we are at Pizzafari.

We stop to see our most favorite show - The Lion King, and then one of our favorite rides the safari. There were quite a few animals out and up close that day. I do wish that they would move that lion somewhere that you could see him. I am beginning to think that there is no lion up there.

Then on to our gorillas. We could watch them for hours however we could only find two, one who was hiding behind the bushes and this guy.

We watch the parade and decide to go back home as we had not heard from the management and wanted to know what was going on. When we got back to the room there was nothing, so we decide to go downtown and get some supper. We went to Wolfgang Puck Express, another first for us. We got something simple that we thought we would be safe with, chicken strips and french fries. We will be going back there again, it was very good.
