I'm glad you liked Hoop Dee Doo, it's one of our favorite places to go. I agree about the beans, the flavor is off but the cornbread more than makes up for them.

Day two, my birthday.

This is the only day we set an alarm the whole trip. We head over to Chef Mickey's for breakfast. Our waitress takes our drink orders and we get our plates and set down to eat. Soon the other waitress comes over to our table and says "Have I waited on you before?" we said maybe. She started insisting that she has waited on us before and she did look somewhat familiar. She asked if we always wear the same shirts and we told her we always at least wear the same color and she said she knew it was us. Brenda says "does that mean we eat here to much?"

During the course of breakfast she continued to come over to our table. When it was time, she brought me my birthday cupcake along with our waitress. After the celebrate song she tells me not to blow out my birthday candle and then she has the whole room sing Happy Birthday to me. Later she is playing a trivia game in the room and tells everyone laughing that we are "regulars" at Chef Mickey's.

We leave and walk over to the monorail, as we are walking up the line I ask the CM if we could ride up front for my birthday. He said that there was a family that had already asked and I said that was fine and thanked him. The monorail arrived and we all started to board when the CM came up and asked us to follow him. He said that he told the family that today was my birthday and they said that I should have the front. So we got our first ride in the front of the monorail!

We loved it there! We did run into a problem that we do not feel like we got a really good answer for and I believe that I am going to write a letter. I don't think anything will happen but it will make me feel better.

At the Magic Kingdom we rode some of my favorites, Buzzlightyear, TTA, BTMRR and we went to the Laugh Floor Comedy Club. Then we decided it was getting hot outside so we went back home (BCV) and took a nap. After our nap we went back to the MK and rode the Jungle Cruise, HM & POC. We walked around and took some pictures on Main Street and then headed for the boat launch headed for Whispering Canyon.

I'll look for her--in TWO weeks. We love the staff at BCV, last summer there were two CMs who were super nice to us. Ariel, a manager I think, remembered our name and said good morning every day and another CM went out of his way to pin trade with Nate. The staff there seems to be very well trained.

I hope your problem wasn't one that ruined your trip in any way.

great trip report, you have more patience then i do . I think i would have said something [ Nicely ] to the family behind you. We had three girls and I think one of us would have noticed if passing the baby back and forth was resulting in some being kicked in the head.

Another first for us - Whispering Canyon. As we are being seated at our table the guests behind us asked for ketchup.

Of course Brenda made sure to tell our waiter that it was my birthday and he said we were going to have fun. The waiter comes over and tells me that my name is now Sherry and I need to pretend that my name is really Sherry. Then he tells me that a little boy is going to serenade me, guess what he is going to sing....Sherry. So they get the microphone out and I have to get up and he tells everyone that my name is Sherry and this little boy is going to sing to me. This little guy is maybe 5 years old, long curly hair and once he has the microphone he does not want to sing alone so....he sings to me while his parents are the back up singers. He was so cute.

The food was really good, watching everything that was going on in the room was funny. You could tell that some guests had no idea what they had just walked into and some knew what was going to happen. I have some great video of Brenda doing the Hokey Pokey.

Brenda had ordered me a birthday cake and the whole restaurant sang Happy Birthday to me. It was great fun.
