Later in the evening we headed to DTD for dinner at Earl's. The kids were looking for a few new games so we checked out the Virgin Mega store. DD got the new Hannah Montana Nintendo DS game and we got the kids Mario Cart for Wii. DS found a new Led Zeppelin shirt. By the way, the Virgin store does take the Disney gift cards and Disney Visa rewards cards.
By the time we left the street performers were showing up. We saw this guy inside a box rolling around. All you could see was his head in a fish globe thing. Were his body should have been were lights and computer gadget stuff. It was pretty weird and he was drawing a big crowd. He was kinda like the talking trash can in MK. Day 7 June 2nd
Today was a special day for all of us. I will fill you in on DD & my day first. I made reservations for the MY DISNEY GIRL TEA PARTY at the Grand FLoridian. We were very excited, and even brought pretty dresses with us to wear. I knew going in that she would be one of the older girls there. The age range in 3-11. She is 10 1/2. She still very much enjoys princess', stories, and the whole tea party theme, so I decided to go with it. I cannot say enough about this. It was so, so Fantastic. Each Princess (our daughters) were called "Your Majesty's". Miss Rose Petal came out to greet all of the princess's one at a time. They were each crowned, and we were individually escorted to our seats. We were seated in a beautifully decorated area attached to the GF lobby. Very plush seats & tables. We were literally treated like royalty. Rose Petal was so animated. She sang, she danced, she told us the story of how she came to be, she was fantastic and always in character. We were immediately served tea and apple tea for the little ladies (juice). At each Princess' seat there was a My Disney Girl doll dressed like Aurora. Inside of each Princess' napkin, they found a charm bracelet. We were served wonderful tea sandwiches, grapes, cheese, flat bread, etc. It was all very tasty. We were told more stories about Aurora's birth and her prince. Next we were served a delicious strawberry cake. Just as we were finishing our cake Aurora came out to dance with the girls. She sat with each one, took pictures with each princess, & handed them each a beautiful Pink Rose. After we were all finished, they were paraded around the lobby, and up the large staircase to meet the Fairy Godmother to get their birth certificates, and name their dolls. Each receieved a bag with scrap booking pages included. They also took a special photo for our photo passes. Last edited by Daisee; 07-26-2008 at 10:24 PM. |

awe that sounds so cute ... I wish I had a little girl to do that with .
