Re: The Daisee & Rlander 2008 celebrating with the Mouse TR!
On the way back to the clubhouse.
My son shot a 50 and I shot a 52. Yes...he always beats me. Not what Tiger can hit, but ok for our first time on this course. It is challenging for a 9-hole course.Last edited by rlander; 07-26-2008 at 10:00 PM. |

Once we got back to the clubhouse and turned in our clubs a super nice older gentleman made me and my son a set of bag tags for homes. He printed our names right on the tag!!! I smugged out our names to protect our identity.

Re: The Daisee & Rlander 2008 celebrating with the Mouse TR!
We finished up around 10:30am and headed back to WL to get cleaned up and eat lunch. DS and I grabbed a hamburger at Roaring Forks and then back to the room to watch some classic Disney toons.
The girls made it back around 1:00 and told us all about the awesome tea party. DD was so excited and made glad we decided to do the party. Our evening park was AK so around mid-afternoon we headed over to Animal Kingdom Lodge to check the place out. We stopped by the gift shop and browsed the lobby. Outside we took some pics of the animal grazing in the HOT afternoon sun. Last edited by rlander; 07-26-2008 at 10:00 PM. |

Re: The Daisee & Rlander 2008 celebrating with the Mouse TR!
Next we were off to a short bus ride to AK. We headed straight for Expedition Everest and grabbed fast passes for later on. The line was pretty short so we decided to wait and ride it now. Next we went to It's Tough to be a Bug, Dinosaur and Dinorama.
It was getting really hot so we headed for the great indoors of Nemo Musical. After getting seated for 10 minutes or so and cooled off, they canceled the show and we all had to leave. Not bad for us since we have seen the show a couple times, but it had to be a disappointment for those who waited an hour. DD and I decided to use our fastpass for Expedition while DS and Daisee sat it out. By the time we got off it was starting to drizzle. We walked over to Yak & Yeti for counter service. Since the seating area is outside and the rain was coming down harder we decided to order some chicken and rice for me and Daisee and get the kids Restaurantasaraus. We sprinted for cover with Yak & Yeti boxes in hand. Last edited by rlander; 07-26-2008 at 10:00 PM. |

Re: The Daisee & Rlander 2008 celebrating with the Mouse TR!
The rain didn't let up all evening so Daisee and I sat on the deck at WLV while the kids played chess in the lobby. After all the running we've done it was nice to just sit and listen to the rain.
Next up will be Daisee with day 8!!! |

How was the Yak and Yeti? Would you go back or stick with Flame Tree?
Did they let you Captin the boat from WL to the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds?

We rented the boats at WL, but we were able to cruise the entire Fort Wilderness/Wilderness Lodge lake. We didn't bother wasting time going over the bridge to Bay Lake. |

Cincy, I can't quite remember how old your DD is. I would say that the majority of girls were between the ages of 5-8. I honestly think the older they are, the more memorable it will be. Some of them were just too young, and will remember nothing. I highly recommend your wife an DD doing this. It is well worth it. |
