Day 8 June 3
OK.. today we woke up later than usual. The early mornings were really starting to take their tole. Especially when we were not getting to sleep until late as well. We headed on over to Epcot to revisit the countries. I just love the countries. We visited some we missed the other day.. like Mexico, Norway, & America. We ate a nice lunch at Cantina San Angel. This is a very nice outdoor CS. It was quite good. It was extremely HOT!! It did not take long for all of us to tucker out, and decide to head back to WLV for rest. DD & Rlander in Norway. Couldn't resist another picture of the Epcot topiaries. I must say, I took pictures of everyone I could find. There were so many, and they were so amazing!

After our rest, we headed for Hollywood Studios for dinner at Sci Fi. As soon as we were finished eating, we noticed that the clouds were very grey and a lot of rain was coming. We made it just in time back to WLV and the sky's opened up. So it was an early evening for us. We hung out at the lodge for while, grabbed a snack at Roaring Forks for later. All in all, it was some nice down time.

Ok...folks....thanks for sticking with us. This is our second last day. We got out early today for rope drop at MK!!! This is always my favorite with the great music and excitement of the characters on the train station deck. Here's the gang ready to welcome us to Magic Kingdom. A must do for this day was to see Mic and Min's house before the crowds hit. DS and I decided to take a nap since we got up so early.
And no...we didn't plan to both wear orange shirts today. Apparently it is not cool to wear the same color shirt as your son. DS made sure to tell me several times that day. Last edited by rlander; 07-26-2008 at 10:00 PM. |
