Great start, I love surprising the kids. Your kids are about the same ages as mine, so I like to see what others in similar age groups enjoy.

We love surprising them too. We have done it 3 times now. We are just too good at the poker face. They never are the wiser.

To follow up on Daisee's comments about the transportation, we lucked out the entire trip. The bus, boat and monorail system was in top form. We only waited a few times for buses at DTD and Poly. The boat from WL to MK was excellent and actually my favorite form of transportation in the resort.

That's how it usually is for us. Always lucky. That's why I am always so surprised about the complaints regarding Disney transportation.

Day 2 ~ Our first full Day

Like all our days we planned a morning and evening park. We headed to Hollywood studios for rope drop. Believe it or not we have never been to rope drop at DS and at first it seemed like there was no big hoopla like at MK. But after the gates open you get stopped at Hollywood and Vine where a director guy picks a family to be "In the movies". The folks are given some lines to read and some silly stuff happens. It was ok...but when you are anxiously awaiting your place in line on RnRC and ToT you get kinda bored with it. Once the director gave us our "role" for the day, we headed down Sunset Blvd. I grabbed fast passes for ToT and we waited in a 5 minute line at RnRC.

Ok....here's where the fun begins!!!! We made our way down Pixar row (or whatever they call it) and saw that Toy Story Mania was open and only had a 20 minute wait. I have read about not missing the "Q" so we decided the wait instead of getting fast passes. The room where you wait in line has so many awesome toys from the past and brought back so many memories. It feels like you have been shrunk down to the size of a toy and the monkeys and tinker-toys are huge. Mr. Potato head got us pumped up for the upcoming ride and threw in a few traditional insults to the crowd. Mr. Potato head is a must see. He actually talks to you!!! Here are a few pics of the toys.

Oh....by the way..DD loves Hannah Montana. She wore a few of her shirts on several days. One time a CM at DS said, "Hey Hannah!!! Loved your concert!!".
A few other CM's also mentioned some Hannah Montanan stuff to her. She was having a great time with it.
