Bella, I am SO glad you liked OKW... those HUGE bathrooms are AWESOME! Especially during Girl Trip, PERFECT for 4 girls! We did just fine sharing the facilities. I am so glad you were also able to get a room near the bus stop and hospitality house, that probably made a huge difference.

Was the tiny in your room REALLY tiny? I thought it was weird that
OKW has the biggest DVC studios but the TV is the tiniest.

To be honest I was only sort of excited about OKW. I had looked at the pictures online and was only "ehh" about the ambiance and I hadn't heard great things about the buses and the size so I was a little underwhelmed at the idea.
However, I did rent points and saved a lot of money so that made me excited!

I have to say that all my worries and fears about OKW were dissolved the minute we got there. As I said before we were right behind the bus stop and close to the Hospitality House. I know the person who I rented points from requested that we get a room there..however..you never know. The ambiance in the room itself was nice. It was very calming and the room was HUGE. The bathroom was gigantic (Dave and I could be in there at the same time getting ready and we could have fit about 9 other people in there with us too!) We loved our balcony which overlooked a lagoon and the golf course and it had a lot of nice overgrown palm trees surrounding it. The entrance to the room was very private so no one was passing by our room at all ours of the night and, with the exception of the first night, we never heard a PEEP from our neighbors. The first night it sounded like someone was dragging a rolling suitcase up and down the stairs for an hour. We were so tired we really didn't care. We also loved the DVD player and made good use of it throughout our trip. We loved OKW and we will stay there again...we may be lucky if we ever stay anywhere else! It really felt like we came home after a long day of the parks and we could just relax. It was very comfortable and we loved it there.
Also, I rented points from an MBer. I am not sure if he'd want me to say who it is, so if he does I'll just let him tell you, but he was the best and if he has points to rent next time we go I'd rent from him again without a doubt!

I have always had SUCH great experiences with the CM's in Guest Realtions. I really loved Carole and then a few years ago we had a girl named Bella (in Epcot as well) help me out 100%. It's got to be a tough job though!! I can't imagine very many people come in there WITHOUT problems.

The coolest part was..you couldn't even SEE the flag part when you were wearing the glasses..they were totally awesome!

So after the drama between myself and Ms. My-braid-is-too-tight-therefore-my-brain-doesn't-work I calmed down and actually managed to enjoy myself! A LOT!

It only took about five minutes for our names to be called and we were in line to get our picture taken with Belle. After all that mess I completely forgot about the princesses and I then turned into a five year old girl. Seriously, I was almost jumping up and down with excitement because Belle is one of my favorites and I had never actually met a princess before! Belle was amazing! She was really gorgeous and she was very sweet. She asked me if I minded if she took Dave by the arm for the picture and made him stand like a prince...it was adorable And it made Dave blush like a schoolgirl. He also said she had a very strong grip! She was also perhaps the littlest person I have ever seen.

After our pictures with Belle we were seated and we had a very lovely server named Ojay. She was sweet and nice and totally made up for the nasty hostess. Keeping in time with the theme of this trip report I decided to have a cocktail! I ordered the glowtini. I really enjoyed the "cold board" buffet. It had peel and eat shrimp, sandwich meats, cream cheese, rolls, pasta salad, cucumber salad and regular salad. I only visited once but I could have gone again it was SO good! I ordered the chicken for my main course and Dave had the Kjottkakker (it was just like meatloaf). Mine was OK and Dave enjoyed his. She did say we could order from the children's menu if we'd like and we'd get an adult portion. I though about ordering the ravioli but decided against it. In hindsight..I probably should have.

Anyways, somewhere in between ordering a glowtini and by the time dessert came...I literally..lost..my..mind. There was a lot of alcohol in that thingy and I think the heat, stress, being tired and the alcohol hit me all at once.
It made for some delightful conversation with the princesses.

Ariel was fantastic. We had a long discussion about getting married young. Ariel's helper even had the hand movements down to match Ariel's.

All the princesses asked Dave to pose like a prince in each of their pictures. Jasmine did not..however..he did it anyway.
After Jasmine left I then gave him a lengthy talking to about how Alladin was a street rat and would not stand like that.

I was having so much fun at one point I even took a picture of the celing.


I did ask Dave about 19 times if he thought I should apologize to Braid Girl..(I didn't.)

At the end of the night Ojay brought out a dessert platter. To me, this was reason enough to go here! There was a sample of three desserts (plus a birthday cupcake!) which had rice pudding with strawberry sauce, princess cake which was like vanilla pudding and strawberry cake layered on top of each other and SO good, and chocolate moose cake. I really loved the two cakes and so did Dave. I have never liked Rice Pudding but I did try it, but to me it wasn't great.
Dave also got a birthday card from all the princesses! He blushed big time when he opened it!

Overall, Akershaussusushs was better than we expected. We really weren't excited about the princesses but they actually ended up making this restaurant #2 in Overall Experience. We have a whole points system with charts..it's ridiculous..but I'll share it later. Belle and Ariel were fantastic and should be promoted!
