Cocoa Beach Contd.

I won't really get into too much detail about our days in Cocoa..basically because we didn't do much!

Most of our mornings were spent at the beach and our afternoons at the pool (and the pool bar!). We really loved Cocoa Beach, it was quiet and pretty and everyone we met there was very nice. Other than the pool bar the highlight of our trip was the excellent food we had! We sort of just "winged" it on where to eat and we ended up eating at some great places. We ate at Florida Bar and Grill which was right on the water and had the best crabcakes I've EVER had. We liked it so much we ate there twice in three days! We also ate at a place called the Italian Courtyard and the Old Fish House. They were both good but they were overshadowed by the awesomeness of Florida Bar and Grill.
We had a short wait at Florida Bar and Grill the first night so we walked out to the dock and took some pictures. It was gorgeous!

More Cocoa Beach
On Saturday evening we headed out to the Cocoa Beach Pier which was about a mile from our hotel. We thought we might eat there but decided against it once we arrived. The Pier was nice, but very crowded and we were very laid back this trip. To me it was a little too Spring Break over there. Lots of people, volleyball and random tacky tourist stuff. We did walk to the end of the Pier (which you had to pay a dollar per person) to get to and we went to the Mai Tai Tiki Bar at the end of the Pier and had very expensive margaritas! Overall the Pier was nice and I am glad we went, but we only stayed an hour or so.

The neatest thing about the "beach" part of Cocoa Beach was the fact that huge cruise ships randomly passed by on their way out. This was something I had never seen before (I'd never even seen a cruise ship up close before this trip!) and man those things were huge!!! While we were at the Pier one passed by.

I don't think it's a Disney boat though..

To me, this was very crowded! We were spoiled at our end of the beach. We seemed to have a lot of locals around us when we were at the beach. It was nice!

Surfers..there were lots of these at the beach and I really liked watching them! I tried to convince Dave to take a lesson with me but he didn't want anything to do with it and I didn't want to go by myself. Maybe next time.
But, I decided that I would take a picture of this guy and just tell everyone it was The Dave...so here is The Dave surfing.

Bella, You hair style is so cute. I hear ya about the frizz. I just had my hair cut short and now it only gets a little puffy.
