Magic Kingdom

Once we reached Magic Kingdom we headed straight towards the castle to see the end of the Dream Along With Mickey show. It was in it's last few minutes so we decided to keep going and catch it again. (We never did)

It was off to Philharmagic! This is a staple for us we usually like to tackle it first because it really puts us in the Disney spirit! However, on the way we past the new HM and it only had a 10 minute wait so we hit that first instead. I really enjoyed the HM, we had not seen it since it was updated last summer and we really liked it. It seems to flow a lot better now. And honestly, I can't remember whatever it is that they took out..all my old favorite parts (the singing heads..the ballroom scene..) were all still there.
After HM we saw Philharmagic and made our way to Tomorrowland. At ten o'clock the park was packed with wall to wall people so we decided enough was enough and after a spin on the TTA we made our way to the monorail to go to Epcot.

On the TTA (see..the hair gradually starts to not look so cute..)

I think he really liked to press his automated greeting buttons because halfway to the MK we heard "Ladies and Gentlemen, unfortunatly at this time the Magic Kingdom has reached capacity and is not admitting anymore guest.....etc..." Then our driver said "April Fools!"
It was hilarious and very entertaining way to kick off our trip!

What a fun way to kick off your trip--I can't wiat for more.

Really enjoying your TR! I think it's great that your first bus driver at WDW was filled with the Disney spirit! What a way to start the WDW portion of your vacation:)

Haha! I actually got a lot of questions if I was from there..but sadly I just got it at Old Navy. I've never even been to CA.

Epcot!

After a short monorail ride we were at Epcot and we were starving!! So we headed to our favorite place..Tangerine Cafe!
Only we made a pit stop at the UK beer cart for some Strongbow (yummy) and Guinness (yuck).

I had the Chicken Schawarma Platter and Dave had the Chicken and Lamb Combo. Here is where some of you are going to be disappointed in me..I didn't take any food pictures. I forgot about it at first and then decided since I hadn't been doing it since the beginning it'd be silly to start it in the middle. I am nothing if I am not consistent! However the food was delicious and we gobbled it up and relaxed for a little while.

The worst part of this trip was the unbearable heat mixed with the HUGE crowds. The parks got so hot around 12 that walking around was dreadful. We even bought another one of those $17.00 water/fan/lifesaver things and we were still miserable. During the rest of the trip we would go back to our hotel during this time frame but on Monday our room wasn't ready yet so we were stuck.
So in order to kill time we roamed the countries until about 2:00 p.m. until we could head back to OKW. We started in Italy and worked our way to Mexico. We of course rode the Malestrom and we rode the new Mexico ride..which I thought was such a HUGE improvement over the old one.

Going into Epcot..with my eyes closed! I forgot our sunglasses in the car..so this was another reason why we were so cranky!

That is so FUN!! Gotta love those Disney CM's, bus drivers, etc. They know how to spread the magic.

World Showcase

When we walked into the Japan store Dave let out a little yelp. They had a mannequin dressed like a Ninja and apparently it startled him. I walked right past it and didn't even see it!

He wanted me to take his picture acting like he was frightened of the ninja..however..to me it looks like he's just telling him a funny joke..



So we tried again..I call this one "The Dave and The Ninja Discussing Hair Care Products"

Thank you! I like his hair short too! It had been long since I met him and this year was his first year teaching so he had to cut it short. However, I love it! I think it makes him look older and handsome!

OMG! those ninja pics!!! How much fun! I love your short hair by the way. And it still looks cute in the humidity- it just is a good length for your face. That button is classic too.... Sometimes Ed can get all silly and fun like that but sometimes he is too embarassed by the attention to do that as well...

I was going to say that but did not know if you liked it longer or not- He definately looks hot with shorter hair!!
