OK, stay tuned for pictures of "Goofy's Kitchen" (or so they tried to call it), Disneyland at night, and "Remember Dreams Come True" fireworks.
Oh my gosh!! How gorgeous are those gowns and that cake?! I'll have to show my oldest DD. She'll start planning her Disney wedding, and she's only 10!!

Neither women made eye contact, said excuse me, or even attempted to be gracious about it. It was a full on PUSH past us, pull of their children's hands to come with them, then just stopped there in front of us SQUISHING us now against the metal garbage cans & against the cast iron postal box on a pole.

Daniel and I both looked at each other TOTALLY in shock like, "Did they seriously just push us out of the way and expect to steal our spot with no apologies?"

I guess one of the women heard me say to Daniel, "What the heck, that woman TOTALLY just pushed me and took our spot."

The woman turned around and SCREAMED AT ME; "YA KNOW, YOU SHOULD HAVE A LITTLE PATIENCE!"

This threw me for a loop and I lost it.

I said to the rude lady, "Umm, excuse me, but we've been sitting here for ONE HOUR.. I call that patience enough. I am sorry you don't have a spot but PHYSICALLY PUSHING me out of the way and attemping to shove your way into one isn't ok. There's a rope there and there's NOT enough room for your party of 7 to fit. We waited here and we don't want to be physically violated! "

Daniel was totally smirking and laughing a little at this point but I was NOT going to let this woman YELL at me after SHE did what she did.
Oh. My. Goodness. So glad you said something. You totally handled this well, and with tact.

Some people have so much nerve!!!!

And how sweet of Daniel with that gift! What a sweetie he is!

haha, YOU DON'T HAVE SKUNKS THERE? I'm totally MOVING!!! Do you have any empty spots in your neighborhood for me to move to?

Oh, and my sunglasses! They are dark brown Gucci horsebit sunglasses. I had gotten them at a Saks Fifth Avenue outlet we have in NJ, for about 40% off the "retail" price. I ABSOLUTELY love designer outlet stores; thankfully in NJ & NY we have a lot.

As far as on-line goes I will ONLY trust places like Bluefly.com (NEVER eBay) b/c I am absolutely against buying fake designer goodies. Here is a link to some nearly the same sunglasses on BlueFly; Bluefly - Big Selection of Women's Designer Sunglasses Up To 75% Off At Bluefly - #2144806 - Gucci dark blue horsebit rectangular wrap sunglasses

See, I was always jealous of people who had 'cool' or different names. It was nice having the license plate for my pink big wheels & Peaches 'n' Cream bike though!

Re: Wishy*s "Anyone smell a skunk?" Disneyland Dreams trip report!

Wow, what a beginning to your trip. You definitely pulled it together though. Kudos to you and Daniel!!

And those cucakes look so delishioso. I get the newsletter from Sprinkles. I am praying they open up somewhere on the east coast. Better not hold my breath though

What a cool hubby with the surprise earrings. Tres pretty!!!!

Glad you spoke up to the rude one who pushed. Where do they grow people like that ??

Your pics look great. I am never able to take good fireworks pics. They just look like colored fuzzy streaks. I have to play with my camera some more.

PS. I like the blond on you. Lookin good!!

Can't wait for the rest of the report.

I know where that is. My dad was stationed at RAF Croughton. We use to go to Bicester Village all the time and I loved it.
