How my obsession led to "The WDW Binder Bible"

Research.

I am addicted to research.

Best place to eat?
Best time to go?
Stroller tips?
Food tips?
Menus?
Fastpass tips?
Photopass tips?
Groceries?

The list goes on and on....

I printed everything I could get my hands on. I needed somewhere to put all of my information.

After spending about $224.87 on toner....

The WDW Binder Bible was born!

It has tabs for each days planned activities and a tab for general information and trip information.

It is thick, It is informative, It is beautiful. DH Thinks I'm Nuts

I look at it EVERY DAY!.....

I am starting to think that I am nuts!

I love your binder and I cannot wait to hear how you got your DS to be so excited about the trip. I am planning to do the same thing when DS is old enough so we can convince DH that we need regular trips to the world.

Seriously, I'd buy the binder too! That's great. I wonder what info you have that I don't. My Mom just got a new book and she read through it and says it's almost all the same stuff you already have. Oh well, still good to keep to remember for our trips.

Oh yes, being a Chef isn't really my dream, it's more his. I only think about learning to do these things better in my everyday life not for a career. My dream job is to plan peoples Disney Vacations part time and what people enjoy their vacations part time. Maybe doing that tour guide thing would be a good dream job for me sense you kind of get to do both, but DH wont move.

I am really enjoying your pre TR!! You have a great style of writing. I love that your DH thinks you are nuts, but he will so change his mind after a fantastic, stress free trip, thanks to your hard work!!
I don't have a binder, but I do cards. I have a card for each day of the trip. Each day's card has all the info we need for that day-flight numbers and times, resort confirmation numbers, parks to visit that day, dining plans and confirmation numbers. I have the cards laminated and hole punched and put them on a key ring. They then go into our back pack to take with us!!
But, I digess. I love your binder idea, thanks for posting pictures!!

During the planning process I was comparing Pop Century to both Port Orleans Resorts and debating if the extra money was worth it.

DH: "What about that camping place you always talk about?"

Awww, that's so sweet! I absolutely love the Wilderness Lodge, it has everything! Glad to see your DH wanted to make some dreams come true!

I think Dana has a service that makes something like my binder, specific to your trip.

I don't think I have any information that you do not. I just took info from here, allears and other sites and organized them to the specific day. So on MK day if I have a question about an ADR, Show/Parade times etc I can flip to that tab.

It also includes reviews from allears b/c I printed them up for DH when I was introducing him to something new or a new restaurant that we have not tried.

I guess you name it, I have it in there!

He teases me but he has admitted that he is not as nervous taking Ty to WDW. He was worried that he would have a melt down or sleep through most of the stuff that he wants to see b/c we used to go commando. He likes to see the breaks etc.
