Oh good Idea. I have been talking about pin trading so maybe we will buy some pins.

Both DD8 & I started pin trading last trip and she loved it. Since you are not leaving for 2 weeks, I would recommend going on eBay to grab some 'tradeable' pins. Some people sell them in lots. It is better than paying $7-$8+ per pin only to trade it away.

Bolingbrook Park District has a good water park and an indoor pool, but no wave pool (indoor or out).

Oh, when I was a kid (we're talkin' over 20 years ago) my parents would take us to the Bolingbrook Park District (we lived in Chicago and it seemed like an all day trip!) just to go to the indoor wave pool and slide. They must have changed things up a bit!?

I want to have the personalized menu at Coral Reef. I spoke with Debbie about 2 weeks ago and she told me to e-mail her 3-6 pictures and what I wanted the menu to say.

I have been trying to think of something witty, cute and sentimental but I am having writers block.

Hi Ms. Sacleux!
I spoke with you on the phone about 2 weeks ago regarding a personalized menu to surprise my husband and son.

It has taken me some time to forward you the pictures I would like to inculde because I can not think of what I want to SAY on the menu.

You see, this trip is a gift given to me by my husband to celebrate my graduation from culinary school. It is also my sons first trip.

I want to thank both my husband and my son for all of the sacrafices they made in order for me to make my own dream come true.

I have attached the pictures for the menu. If I MUST give you a quote I would like to tell Rob and Tyler...

"Thank you for making all of my dreams come true."

BUT if you feel you have something better, that would be appropriate please feel free to use your professional opinion!

I'm glad I'm not the only one with the planning bug! I've been planning my upcoming trip with DD5 for Dec. since May.

We went to the MNSSHP last year - I didn't exactly wear a costume - I bought a Pink Ladies satin jacket (from Grease) and wore black capris and tank under it. It worked great because I agree, there's nothing worse than being uncomfortable!!

I'm sure you will tear up quite a bit with Ty, seeing everything through his eyes. We caught the parade at MK the first day and I think I watched it through tears the entire time. My DD was just so excited to see everybody (it was her first trip)!

Can't wait to read more!

Uh...Ty is completely packed. Every outfit, costume, underpants, socks, even his shampoo and toothpaste!

EVERY SINGLE ITEM IN HIS SUITCASE HAS A NEW TAG ON IT! (um, even his toothpaste and toothbrush)

I did not realize how much I shopped for this trip. Well, at least hes gonna look good!

I am having a real hard time not packing myself.....a real hard time.

I do have a question....

I packed all short outfits for him. I did pack 2 pair of jeans and a nice pair of comfy pants (kinda like sweat pants but cuter). I also have a Windbreaker if it gets chilly and a rain jacket.

Is that enough warm clothes for the evenings or will it get chilly every night?

It won't get chilly - at all. Ok, maybe it will, but it's highly unlikely. Shorts & short sleeved shirts will be great and maybe a few long sleeve shirts just in case for the evenings, but you probably won't even use them. It's usually hot here until Nov-Dec.

Your trip is getting so close! I am excited to read your TR when you get home.

I always bring warm clothes for our trips, and then they just sit in the bottom of my suitcase the entire trip. This time I've made an oath not to bring any jeans. I'm just bringing a sweatshirt for DS4, and a small windbreaker for me.

This will ensure that there is very cool weather during my trip...LOL!! Oh well - a good excuse to shop I guess.

Just got caught up on your trip report... packing on my end is going slow... got DH and myself 3/4 done, MissSMIG doesn't want to pack, I keep demanding and she doesn't listen. HollyLynne, well she won't pack until that week, she hasn't even gotten her suitcase out of the attic yet.

I can not wait... don't forget I'll call you when we get to CSR and let you know when we are leaving for EPCOT.

Down here in South Fl, the weather has been weird . . . with all the storms. It's been a bit breezy, not cold at all, just breezy. As a Floridian, I ALWAYS pack light jackets for the kids at night . . . even if its only for when we go into the A/C. After a day in the sun, sometimes the nights can feel a little chilly and with a breeze, the little guys can feel it more.

10 more days WOW, you are so close . . . and hopefully all these CRAZY storms will be loooooong gone!!
