Can't wait to hear about your dream. I am enjoying your TR, you write very well for a young man. Your pics are great, keep them coming.

Re: Scottish.Mickeys "Wishing I was onsite" TR

Day 9 - Hollywood studios

We arrived early just after opening to find stormtroopers ontop of the entrance, *smack on head* Starwars Weekends Nobody knew what this was besides me, but I knew it was gonna be busy

We walked straight through and up to the great movie ride, we wanted to ride this first as I was scared as a kid and I wanted to see what all the comotion was We walked through pretty quickly then as we reached the 'theatre' area a member of the Dream Team said to us, "Well done, you are at the right place at the right time, you have won a Dream Fastpass Mixed emotions ran through my body and I wasn't sure what to do I jumped for the whole que!

I waved to the anamatornics, clapped and played along. The row behind us started laughing at me making me fall back into the " 13 year old Meeting Mickey " again
Our guide into the movies (who I am sure, name was Sarah) realy loved that she had atleats one passenger who was enjoying himself

We looked at the DFP and wondered what to do next? Toy Story mania, I squeled, explaning how it was new ect.

It was amazing! Simply the best Interactive/shooting ride out! We rode The Backlot tour then I met Mike and Sulley, (I'm posting this pic to show my Dream Fastpass)

YAY!!! I am SOO glad you won Dream FastPasses! Especially on such a busy day during Star Wars Weekend! Congratulations, that was definately good timing and lots of Disney luck!

And you know what, those ninnymuggins in the row behind you that had the nerve to laugh at someone actually enjoying themselves can go choak on a cherry pit.

LOVE your pic with Mike & Sulley. Question... did the rest of your family not want to be in character photos? I feel like they are mostly of just you!

Re: Scottish.Mickeys "Wishing I was onsite" TR

The rest of the day was a real blur, I'm not sure the exact order but I remember riding Toy Story Mania, Rockin Roller Coaster, TOT and star tours, sadly this is the end of my TR.

I was sad to leave WDW but a small part inside of me was happy as I knew I will be here alot more in the future

Thank You everyone for reading my Trip Report and I hope you all enjoyed it.

Definetly!

We were in the FP que for RnRC when a young man in front of us with a Star Wars T-shirt and a small Mickey plush asked us where we won them, we explained the GMR without finishing the sentence the guy ran past us and crawled under the rope (I'm guessing we was running to the GMR0

I love your TR so far! Great pics and I'm so glad you enjoyed your trip so much. What did you think of Star Wars weekend while you were there? We were thinking about going that time of year next summer.

So far? Its done now
I enjoyed Star Wars weekends, I'm not a fan infact I've not saw any of the movies.
There was alot of crowds which was our fault for bad planning.

If you are a fan of SW you would have a ball = if not, it's still fun

Re: Scottish.Mickeys "Wishing I was onsite" TR

I am glad you bumped this thread because I didn't see your TR until just now. I loved every moment of it. You are a very good writer and story teller.

I, myself, will not have a reason to go to Universal until The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opens. Even then, I will stay at Disney!

Re: Scottish.Mickeys "Wishing I was onsite" TR

I know how the off-site experience feels. The first time I went to Orlando we stayed off-site. The resort was absolutely wonderful, but we only went to Magic Kingdom ONE DAY. We didn't visit any of the other Disney parks. It was a very fun trip, but not as magical, IMHO.
