Soon, the CM told us it was time to go outside. He said there are two balconies, with the same view, and that the right balcony is always less crowded than the left. So we went outside and found that the speakers on the viewing platforms carry the same recordings as the park itself! It was just amazing.

The timing of the fireworks to the music was awesome. There were also a lot of special displays, like presents, hearts, smiley faces, Mickeys... just lovely.

DD got a henna tattoo, which was very beautiful!

We got to leave MK one night through the back parking lot, which was such a rush for me. I know everyone else was not as impressed by the sight of a trash cans and recycling, but I was pumped. Here are some pics of a guy who is shoveling scoops of dry ice. I thoguht it was a cool job... get it? Cool job. OK, never mind.

I love the "Stay in character and play the part" sign! Great message for anyone!

Just like the earlier pic of Main Street, here are pics of Studios and of EC in front of France... I took them because I figured nobody would believe the light crowds without pics!

The Studios pic is taken at about 10 a.m. on Christmas, and the EC pic is from the day before, I believe, at about the same time. CRAZY!

If you have little kids, be sure to book a lunch at Biergarten. The band gets all teh little kids up on the dancefloor, and it is really fun for them.

(We also stumbled into breakfast at H&V which I had forgotten is a character breakfast. We didn't recognize a single character, and we kept trying to give them the "go away" vibe. But they kept coming to the table. Picture DH very unwillingly accepting a hug from some doll named Jojo and some kid with glasses. Not a pretty picture and my desire to stay married prevents me from posting it here. Though I do get a big chuckle out of it every time I see it...)

Look closely and you will see DaVine! She was hiding up front of AK near Rainforest Cafe. Her face is really beautiful. I bet she is a knockout without makeup!

People often ask on MB about Shades of Green. It had been many years since we were there for golf, but we picke dup a rental car on our last day here, and it has changed very much. It is beautiful -- incredible really, and if you have the credentials to book it, by all means, do it!

The grounds are amazing, and the lobby is rustic in that fabulously luxurious Disney way, LOL. There is a staircase and waterfall that goes down to teh bus stop, and the whole resort is surrounded by golf courses. So close to MK you can smell the cookies on Main Street. OK, that's a slight exxageration, but you get the picture.

We have decided our next DVC trip will be to HH, or perhaps we will hit either BCV or WLV. Thoughts?

Shades of Green does look absolutely beautiful! I didn't realize you were allowed to play golf there if you weren't staying at the resort, that's cool. Then again I know nothing about golf.

Gorgeous pictures! Your Christmas dinner looked amazing & I am SO happy you got to enjoy the beautiful holiday fireworks from up there.

Oh my gosh, they let you take pictures back there?!?! We've exited that way a few times & official looking CMs were yelling loudly & very sternly "NO PHOTOS PLEASE... NO PHOTOS or VIDEO!" I didn't want to test that warning.
