Re: Nokey's 9 Days of Christmas Cheer in WDW!

Great TR!! Your family is beautiful!! Sorry everyone was sick!!

On a side note--my son will be 8 months too when we go in May and I'm sad to know that the restaurants aren't very baby friendly!!

And sorry to thread jack a little but I noticed you had a Maclaren twin...We are looking to purchase one ourselves and I was wondering how you found it manuvering around the crowds? And thru the stores?

Sorry we missed you as well! You are so brave to be going back during the hoilday season! Although I loved being there to see the decorations and all, I don't think we will do it again that close! We found it so stressful to come back, have to cut down our tree, decorate the house, finish the shopping and carry through with the traditions that seem to make the holidays so special to us. We were enourmously stressed this year and we know it was due to the fact that we lost 11 days with Disney. Don't get me wrong, we loved our trip, it was just the return to the hussle that stressed us out!

I did mention to Chris that I would love to go just him and I for our Anniversary (long weekend) and stay at Wilderness. We would love to just sit and relax in the lobby, oh my how relaxing it seemed!

The party was a first for our dd and dgd so I was disappointed that they didn't get to see everything. Just to cold to enjoy. I did think of you though. We stayed at the Contemporary and found this on the fourth floor.
You should have headed over to the shop by the Pirates of the Carribean. They were selling these wonderfully warm blankets that tied up, and they were only like $18. They were super warm and now I keep it in my car for the kids to cuddle up when the nights are cold here in New England!

I did not make it to all of the resorts like I wanted to, but Pinnochio is one of my favorites,as you all can see. I am sorry I missed this one!

Ok, so the Maclaren Twin, not mine, it was my friends and she let us barrow it, I have a double Jogger! I will say it was terrific, however, not that great for the stores, but it manuvered the crowds and fit on the monorail terrificly! At home I really don't need a double stroller all that much anymore, so I have the Joovy Kooper! I love it!!!!! It is great on the beach, yes, the beach!!! Can you believe it!

Your trip sounds wonderful except for the illness. I read on another board the a stomach bug was running crazy down there. We were there in May a few years ago and my Dh got sick so I feel your pain.

Your pictures are great, your family is so beautiful.

Thank you! To be honest, and I know I will sound shallow, but I look terrible! Although I did not get sick until I came home, I was so tired!!! plus, I forgot my favorite brush on the counter at home! Dont'cha just hate that!!! Oh well, I enjoyed sharing with all of you! Thanks for reading!

Oh yeah, I forgot... The day we took the kids to the walk in, luckily we showed up as soon as they opened their doors , but as we were walking out, there was a shuttle (apparently they pick people up at their resorts if need be) that emptied about 30 people into the clinic. Unbelieveable!!! One child was running (or being dragged )by his dad to make it to the bathroom , he did not make it!

SO.... word to the wise! If you need to use the walk in clinic, be the first ones there, even if you are too early. The people who came in as we were leaving I am sure were there for hours!!!!!
