When we were in Disney at Halloween, Val told me to use the High ISO setting for nighttime pictures . . . it worked really well. Try that next time it might help? For everyone I show in my TR there are 3 like it, that are no good, I'm always switching settings to try and figure out the best setting to use. The automatic setting never seems to work for me!

Your TR is still great! And it sounds like you had so much fun!

Re: A Very Merry Trip Report...in pictures!

I always wondered about those rollerskating ladies in the parade. Snowflakes must be it!!

And what a cute picture of you and Baloo.

I agree, about the WD-40 and the Country Bears. It was the same when we saw it last year.

That sounds familiar - maybe that's the video I'm thinking of! I think there was also a song and/or dance with a wind up toy? And a really annoying girl singing the "I'm Getting Nothing For Christmas" song? I'm getting more and more flashbacks of it... I'm going to have to go dig through our old VHS's.

Thanks for reading the TR!

I will definitely try that! I've tried all kinds of settings and flash/no flash combos, but I don't think I've ever tried that one. Thanks!

haha I really have no idea what they're supposed to be... something about their skirts and the fluffy hats for some reason made me think snowflake.

The crowds were actually pretty good, we thought, for it being so close to Christmas. MVMCP was the only rough spot - the rest of the parks weren't bad at all.

Re: A Very Merry Trip Report...in pictures!

Thanks for reading so far, everyone! Let's continue!...

After the parade we headed over to stake out a spot for the holiday version of Wishes. We may have stocked up on cookies and hot chocolate along the way...

On that note, they were giving out apple slices too! I didn't think I'd want them, since I don't associate apple slices with Christmas. But after a big dinner at Pecos Bill's of pulled pork and fries, I found myself craving fruits & veggies, so I snagged a bag and thoroughly enjoyed them.

Our view for Wishes. I love the ice-covered castle.

I love close-ups with the clock... I do not know why.

The 3 Caballeros!... and me.
Most of our group pictures resulted in at least 1 person being hidden behind my fluffy hat. You'll see as we go along...

Re: A Very Merry Trip Report...in pictures!

Holiday Wishes was GREAT!!! I really loved it. The combination of Disney + Christmas got me a little teary.

My favorite part was when the gears showed up on the castle in lights, and the music sounded like a wind-up toy... I don't know why, I just thought it was a great effect with the lights, music, and fireworks combined!
