Re: What did you do this weekend? We went to Europe!

Behind this beautiful painting is a beautiful pipe organ. They tour guy was telling us that the builder put a lot of these mock entrances to things throughout the entire house. There are a lot of mock doors so that the aesthetics of the house was always in sync. I guess the Feng Shui of the 20's I'm a bit of a nerd so these useless fact are wonderful information for me.

And another piece of useless information about the pipe organ, there is a gentleman that comes in once a week and plays it for 2 hours. It's in the middle of the week in the middle of the day I would love to go down there and listen one day, I imagine it's beautiful to hear.

Re: What did you do this weekend? We went to Europe!

And for our last photo of the Trip Report this is a staircase leading down to the lower part of the house.

When the house was originally built it was an open air house nothing was closed in. After a couple of hurricanes that destroyed certain areas of the home and due to the weather conditions being what there are in FL they decided to enclose the house over the "patio" area and put in AC. Which is always nice in FL.

Re: What did you do this weekend? We went to Europe!

So that's it between our two trips we look over 400 photos but I decided not to bore you with them all.

I hope you enjoyed our little piece of Europe right here in FL and all my useless facts about the home.

If you're ever in S FL, the South Beach/Coconut Grove area, and have a couple of hours to kill I highly recommend it. It's on the water so I'm sure even in the dead of summer here it wouldn't be that hot due to the ocean breeze.

Thanks for looking.

It's beautiful there. If you've got time I would highly recommend heading there. It on the road that's the last exit of I-95, maybe like a block away from that point very easy to get to.

Thank you very much, we realized afterwords the camera was zoomed in a little but we liked it so we decided to keep it.

Your photos are GORGEOUS!
More so than the money that's what really put me off from it, you were only able to use their catering company, rental company, flower company, you name it only their company. The wedding can only take place during a certain time, whatever too many things you're not able to do.

Thank you we LOVE our camera it's a Fuji S8000fd and the zoom is incredible.

The necklace is from Park Lane Jewelry, it's one of those catalog parties. My sister's sister-in-law was having one and I didn't really want to go, but my sister got it for me for Christmas and I love it. Now I want to go to one of the shows.

I am embarrassed to admit I had never heard of Vizcaya before. What a treasure! Your photos are beautiful.
