Day two - Friday, 2/6

My body woke up at 5:30am. I am so used to getting up at 5:30 for work that I just automatically do it. I laid in bed for about 20minutes and got myself up and dressed. I allowed DD to sleep until 6:15 and then started pusing her out the door. She is so slow in the morning..ok check that, she's slow ALL DAY...so my opposite. I sat impatiently on the bench again reading my book waiting for her to get done.

She finally finished and I put my book away. We headed over to the bus stop and the AK bus magically appeared. We were in line for the AK by 8am...I love being first and we were NOT..GRRR. the led us into the Oasis at 8:45 and we watched the opening show of sorts and sped walked out way over to EE. We spent the first hour going on EE riding over and over again. No waiting, just walking off and getting back on again. We had to ride at least 6 times. We headed over to the Rainforest and had breakfast. After hearing people talking about their breakfast, I had to check it out. I had the Tonga toast which was NOT tonga toast at all at least not Polynesian Tonga and it totally broke my heart. It wasn't horrible, just not the TOnga my mouth was watering for. DD got an omlette and like it however. After breakfast, she decided that we were going to Epcot to do the countries. I was fine with that of course. How many times can one go on EE anyway? Well, I could have easily went on 6 or 7 more times, but this was her Bday trip and I let her guide us.

The Epcot bus magically appeared as soon as we lined up for it. This was getting creepy..lol

We walked over the the countries and went in every gift shop so Sara could get candy from every single country. All I wanted was chocolate chip cookies from Germany..oh they are my FAVORITE! I didn't even make it out of there before eating one of the three I bought. The other two were stored in my room fridge and picked on at random through out the trip

We headed back to the room around 3pm and DD declared she needed a nap.. I gladly went out on the balcony and finished my book...now I had to get my hands on the second one. After DD decided to rise and shine, we headed over to DTD. The walk to the boat wasn't so far away...took us about 10minutes or so to get there. Boat magically pulled in just as we walked up. I sware to you guys...this transportation was magical the entire time. It's like there was a WDW god looking out for us..lol

When we got to DTD, we headed over to Wolfgang Puck Express for dinner. Sara got the chicken alfredo and I had the flatbread pizza (mushrooms and peperoni I think.). We had such a fantastic meal here....what a great value for the Counter serivce plan too. We ate here a few times over the next few days.

After dinner we started to get our pin trade on with the DTD pin traders. Having dealt with these people a few times, we are not the rookies we once were. We make out better now when we strike up deals. It helped that it was all really nice people here tonight too. The cheerleaders were every where down here. They weren't annoying, just there and in large numbers making it really hard to walk around.

We made our way down to the Virgin store and I bought New Moon the second book in the series...yeah I was sucked in totally now.. After the Virgin store, we walked our way back to the market place and finally to the boat dock. We headed back to the resort and were in our rooms by 9:30pm. Dd was on the deck on the phone and I laid in bed reading the new book until around 11pm when we both passed out.

Another perfect Disney day...no stress, no to many rides, but who cares? We had fun.

Ah I am loving it Dana, keep it coming!! Just the thought of that first day exhausts me...I don't blame your DD for wanting a nap! (But I don't blame you for being impatient to get to the parks either. )

Yeah it was like being torn in two. i was SO bushed, but just couldn't slow down. I wanted to dive into the parks and she wanted sleep..

yeah yeah....don't know why. I never needed sleep at that age..I always felt like I was missing something if I slept.

I don't know how you do it! I would be nagging her every step of the way! I honestly don't think I could sit down and read a book on only my second day in Disney.

I love that you're living proof you can have an incredible time in Disney without doing tons of rides! I swear I always enjoy my time even more on the days when I hit less attractions, but if I tell other people that they think I'm crazy.

Day three - Saturday, 2/7

I was up and wanted to be at the HS for morning EMH. I demanded DD get her buns from the bed and get moving. She sensed my need for speed and just did what I asked for a change and got ready quick. We walked up to the bus stop and again, the bus magically appeared. We were at the gate and waiting to get in as soon as it opened.

We took a chance and did RnR BEFORE toy story. I know you must all think I was nuts, but I HAD to get my speed fix. After I hit the loops, we ran down and got a fast pass for Toy story and it was for 10:35am...can you imagine? It was February, EMH and the park was dead and still that many people sucked up fast passes in the first 10min. No mater, no complaint, as long as we got on it at some point in the day. We headed over and got breakfast at ABC...which stunk on ice I must say..BLECH. After breakfast we did TOT and RnR again and then the crowds swarmed...oh boy did they ever. Today was competition day for the cheerleaders and it was IN HS...YEah ..not so much...

We did out fast pass for Toy story and I beat the snot out of DD who was totally ticked I beat her...oh well.

After Toy story we did star tours, watched the Jedi training camp thingy and shopped our way around HS studios until lunch time. We ate at Backlot express not wanting to take the chance that lunch at ABC tasted like the breakfast. While we were eating we could hear the cheer competition...I peeked in and got sucked right into it. Dd joined me and we ended up watching it for over an hour. I always enjoy watching them on ESPN when I see it on, but seeing it in person is way cool. Man I wish I could do those flips and stuff..very cool!

After we watched for a bit, we headed out of HS and back to the room for another nap for DD. I just read New Moon while I waited. As I sat on the bench outside the rooms, A CM (Brandon) came up and asked me what I was reading. He just got done Twilight and was sucked in too. I offered to give him New Moon since I was on the last few chapters. I told him I would leave it by my room in an envelope with his name on it. At some point, I walked up to the concierge desk and was able to score myself an ADr for Ohana for Monday night at 5pm...THAT WAS A SHOCKER!

I ended up reading until 6pm...DD still sleeping...and finished New Moon..now to get my hands on Eclipse...

Once DD was up, we headed over to DTD for some grub and to make her a Tshirt for her Bday the next day. The boat, of course, was waiting for us when we walked up. DTD was PACKED..so many people..we waited to eat and headed over to the T-shirt place to make her shirt. That was easy enough. We were told to pick it up at 8:30 and were on our way. We headed over to the Virgin store only to find out that they did not have my book, but thought maybe they would by Monday?? NOO!!!! I had to find out what happened!!! DD was trading and finishing series left and right while I sat and watched. I really was just content to sit there and chill ...yeah, seriously I sware I relaxed this trip for real.

We headed over to Wolfgang's again and sara got the Mac and Cheese and I got the Sausage flatbread...another excellent meal.

We headed over to pick our Tshirts up around 8:30 or closer to 9pm and it was insane in the shop. I didn't know which line to go in to pick up...there was a seriously STUPId woman trying to make a Tshirt and holding up the entire line while she did it. Why on Earth did they stick a Thirt computer in the line like that???? Holy cannoli I wanted to kick her every time she changed her mind and started over. I finally got super POed after I waited over 40minutes for this moron to make her ONE shirt and asked the poor CM helping her to just hand me my shirt so I could leave. the people in that line were SUPER angry and just wanted to get out of there. The line wrapped around the entire store and this woman just kept changing her mind over and over again watching the line grow...I wanted to slap her...I sware it.

Tshirt in hand and my temper in check sorta, we headed back to the boat dock and back to the resort. We walked through the gift shop and picked up some drinks and snacks for the room. Apparently, the snack rules have changed or changed for the woman waiting on me because she told me that only the cookies in the one bin were snacks...no lunchables etc... I really didn't care and didn't feel like fighting, so I just paid and left. We got back to the room around 9ish. I did notice that the envelope I left was gone and there was a note from Brandon peeking out under the mat thanking me for the book...he said I made his day. How cool is that? I got to make a CM's day! See the night was salvaged after stupid lady in Tshirt store...hey that sounds like a book title..

Edward and bella have been my "company" for over a week...I just finsihed the last book tonight..lol

It totally made my day to make his day...rare thing to get the chance to make his day. I was done with the book and the best part of having a book is passing it on to someone else. Can't keep them all right?

I am loving your super relaxed trip so far!!!!!!! Your DD sure likes her sleep!!!! I could sleep for 12 hours a day if I could, but NOT on vacation!

I can't wait to hear more. Do you have pics of the shirts???
