BTW, The towels are called the Terrible Towel and you better not make fun of 'em! They are REALLY sensitive about them over there in Pittsburgh! Those towels are an institution! You basically just wave them around.

hehe, I love the fruit happy face! I am so sorry to hear Kona was dissapointing this time , I have never been there for breakfast but I usually hear good reviews. OH, and you know who Jeremy reminds me of.... Desmond from Lost!!!

Oooo-kay. I thought it was like "Don't throw in the towel" or a "Crying Towel" or something... Anyway - about 10 balconies at SSR had them flying.

I've never seen Lost - I'll have to look it up...but our Jeremy is a good guy - what a pleasure he was to take on holiday! No complaints, went along with everything - I wish everyone we've taken could be like him.

So... (I'll have more pics up later. They're on Emily's computer and she's taken it to work).

At Epcot we headed to Soarin', but all the FP's were gone for the day, although the place wasn't crowded at all. It was a 30 minute wait, but we decided to come back another day for it. We did Living with the Land, Nemo, Test Track, Imagination and Spaceship Earth. By that time it was about 5 pm and I had to meet up with Iris (and Marti) at 7:30. The kids decided to go to Raglan Road for dinner too, but the only ressie they could get was 6:45 - so I went along with them and had a couple of G&T's while they ate. At about 7:25 I got up to look around for Dopey. I KINDA remembered what she looked like from pics, but I couldn't see anyone resembling her at the front - and NO ONE was wearing Stubbs and Wootens - so I asked the CM at the res. desk and she told me they were in the Bar. (well - duh!)...So I wandered in there - looking like a dope staring at everyone...nope, not her, nope, not her, nope DEFINITELY not her. Then this lady turned around on her bar stool - and I saw a little furball kitty peeking out from behind her. Iris?....IRIS!! Hugs! Then she introduced me to Marti and Mike (note the order). Marti was all spiffed up in her Mickey t-shirt and pin lanyard. I tried to stuff her into my purse, but Frau Iris was having none of that! Mike greeted me with "do you know this drink cost me $22.?" What a good guy and sport he is. Toting Marti all around, putting up with 2 nutty MB women. I introduced Iris to Emily & Jeremy (I think they were polite enough, I hope), then we were seated. Fun and food and drinks ensued. Iris and Mike are such great people and I hope they enjoyed themselves as much as I did. Uh - sure Iris - you don't have a German accent at all... Naturally I had forgotten the camera, so you'll have to go to Dopey's trip report for a pic of the festivities. OMIGOSH - I had the BEST dinner there. I wasn't too hungry, so I got the tenderloin salad. A perfect medium-rare tenderloin sliced, warm, over a great salad with a really good dressing and drizzled with horseradish sauce. MMMM -mmmm. For dessert I had the sticky toffee pudding I hope I didn't look like too much of a pig for eating every bite of it - it was amazing. After dinner we strolled back to the MP - Dopey had some shopping to do, so we said our goodbyes. How great it was to finally meet her. I started walking back to SSR. As those of you who have taken the path know, it's kinda spooky in the evening. So I was strolling along when RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME was the BIGGEST RAT I've ever seen in my life - casually eating a french fry someone had dropped. OK - there is nothing I am more terrified in the world than RATS and this one was HUGE! I looked at it - it looked at me and then it dawned on me - it wasn't a rat!! It was a possum!!! I have NEVER seen a possum in my whole life. So now that I realized it wasn't a rat, but a cute little possum I stopped and watched him eat his french fry and then waddle back into the brush! I was so excited I rushed all the way to the suite to tell E & J. Emily was all for going out to find him again, cause she'd never seen one either, but Jeremy vetoed that! He wasn't going possum hunting at 10 o'clock! So instead we went to bed. Neil was flying in that evening and didn't get there until 2 a.m. - I waited up for him. I was glad to, but I sure was tired the next morning.

Thank You Paula! We do take them rather seriously (as in, you trash the towel, we kill you. . ) I personally own aproximately 30 Terrible Towels. My sons, who are a whole 8 weeks old, own two each. We start young.

P.S. I saw an opossum on my back deck once and I screamed and woke Dave up. He shooed it away with my Swiffer Wet Jet...and then I got mad at him because the little opossum looked so sad in the face. It was just that big huge scary looking rat tail that freaked me out.

You thought a possum was cute? Ugh! I think they are the ugliest animals in the world. We live in Northeast Ohio on Lake Erie and they are always skulking around and hissing near the woods. Yuk!

But then again....it is Disney....maybe they are cuter there!
