I really don't know... Maybe we're all too busy slurping Slurpees. Our neighbour actually moved to Pittsburgh to be the curator of a museum there - but I'm sure he was not into football - he wore a french beret whilst raking his leaves. Very strange man...

Oh OH! We saw an armadillo a few trips back. DH actually stopped the car and we got out and looked at him. He was cute too! So many strange little animals in WDW!

Ummm, of course we thought it was totally "piggish" of you to eat that entire desert. We thought so many things among them:
Will Llama show up or ditch us?
OMG, what if we don't get along?
Should Mike tell her how shocked he was at the bar prices at Raglan Road? Why yes, yes he should
Did all of us really eat that much food?
Should Marti have a dinner outfit? (We'll leave that up to Voldemort )

There are more questions we won't put them all up here.
Just the answers I was waiting for.

So did we! We saw them on WDW property a couple of times. :)

OK, first, I thought RR was supposed ot have food that's only so-so? This sounds like heaven to me and now I want to gve the place a try. Do they have entertainment all day? And second, if this is what you order when you're not to hungry.... well.... LOL!

You are so cute! You are the first person I ahve ever heard describe a possum as cute, and even in Disney movies when they try to make a possum seem like a charming little woodland creature, you can tell they are really working hard to show it in a positive light. Nasty disgusting animals... did you know they keep their whole pack of brats in a pouch on their stomachs? Gross.
Why yes, yes I am cute. OK - the food at Raglan Road has improved VASTLY - and while the steak salad wasn't SMALL it was just about the smallest entree on the entire menu. You have to try it. You know I'm always up for good liquor. Now, back to the report, lest Dopey gets testy again - which, of course, we can't have...

So...Neil rolled in at about 2 a.m. Although he had his id and knew the room number, the guard INSISTED on phoning to check that he was who he said he was. Thank you guard for doing your job and waking up my kid. Anyway, 7 am came way too fast, but it came. Some breakfast in the suite. Animal Kingdom time! We now had a car - so we didn't have to rush for a bus. And WHAT a car! It was this bright YELLOW (hey, maybe it was a STEELERS car!) little sporty thing - at 2 in the morning that was all they had left at Alamo - or a van. Anyway, it was just 2 doors, which had Emily grumbling that it was hard to get in and out of. Shut up Emily. Get in the car.

We are AK lovers. Well, we are animal-lovers. (add possums to the list). We got there at opening and as always did the Safari first - we like to see LOTS of animals and early morning is the best). They didn't disappoint. Jer was totally blown away (I'm going to have to find a new phrase, I've used that one a lot). But he was - he just loved seeing all the animals. To sum up the day (cause we didn't run into any rude people or anything to give interesting antedotes), we had a fabulous day. Jeremy LOVED the Safari, EE, Dinosaur, ITTBAB (where I found out he was scared of spiders. - Wuss) and thought FOTLK was pretty cool. I think he could have skipped the Nemo musical - but I love it - so tough. By now, any of you who live in Florida know that this particular week broke all the records for COLD! But that day actually warmed up a little to the high 60s and it was pleasant for us. AK took up our whole day - we were really having such a good time we didn't want to leave - but there was some sort of football game on that day - or something - with strange yellow people and stuff... so Neil and Jeremy HAD to get back to watch it. So back home to SSR. Neil went out to pick up Boston Market chicken for us. (those of you who have read my previous reports know that we are addicted to this stuff - we MUST have it!). Jeremy thought it was the best chicken he ever tasted. And it is! So that game started and I took myself off to the bedroom where - AS LUCK WOULD HAVE IT - a REAL sport was on tv. ESPN was showing a repeat of the men's final of the AUSTRALIAN OPEN between Federer and Nadal (and we all know who I was pulling for, don't we Smee), so I curled up in bed and had a wonderful night - except for the occasional shout from the living room. KEEP IT DOWN GUYS! Rafa is serving.

Always get a yellow car - so you can find it in the parking lot when you've forgotten where you've parked - which we do - frequently.

(I know that Raglan Road is not Disney but I know it's on Disney property)

Ok, I totally think the prices are INSANE, but I will say that at Raglan Road, when you get a double, you are getting a full double. At most resturants, a double is only a quarter ounce more. At Raglan its a half ounce. I know, I know, that doesnt make it much better, but I thought I would throw that in there

I don't think we can be friends anymore. . .

Nonetheless, good report-- I forgot how much fun it is to take a first timer!

Oh, go on - you know you love me.

I'm just not into football. Neil and Jeremy enjoyed the game though (and I do think they were pulling for Pittsburgh).

yes well, I would have appreciated the quarter ounce, because that real double kind of put a kink in my evening. Mike behaved rather strangly and now I know why
