Thanks for the compliments on the castle pics.
Day 5 -- We're off to Animal Kingdom! Yea!!! We ate breakfast at Pop food court. The end. Usually we start our day at AK with a safari but because we weren't there at opening, we opted to get a FP for the last ride of the day. Our experience is that the animals are most active first thing in the morning or toward the end of the day. So we took our chances on the latter. We knew we weren't going to use a safari FP until evening, so we immediately headed to EE to get a FP right away. We'd get our safari FP in a couple of hours. Crowd wasn't too bad yet.

So we grabbed our FPs and went back. We've done this a couple of times and get such a kick out of the first-timers during some of the "special effects."

Perfect timing. When we were out of ITTBB, we headed over to Flights of Wonder for the next show that was starting in about ten minutes. We saw this show for the first time last trip and loved it. It was too fun to pass up again!

The "tour guide" on the right was the same one in our first show a year ago. She is great in this role!

After FoW we headed over to EE for our ride. Two trips ago I rode EE and LOVED it!! All three times. Last trip, not so much. The head rush on the backwards part freaked me out big time so I only rode it once last year. This time I was bound and determined to ride again to see if I had the same experience. I definitely had head rush but it wasn't as bad and didn't freak me out as much. I would have ridden again but DS didn't want to, which seemed a little odd because he loves coasters. DH thinks he was worried about me and pretended he didn't want to ride again.
 We grabbed a shrimp/pork egg roll and a veggie egg roll at that wagon en route to Africa and headed over to the safari to grab a FP (whoa, I have no clue what it's called!). The egg rolls were very tasty! We were pleasantly surprised and almost went back for another one. Took these along the way. I think the Tree of Life is one of the most creative works of art at WDW.

With safari FP in hand, we decided it was getting pretty warm and a bit more crowded so it was time to head back to the pool (and my blue frozen Coke) for our afternoon break.
