Since we had ressies at WGP in DTD at 7:30pm, we decided to take a little walk around the property and go check out the pool.

MY REVIEW:

If you are a pirate fan, these rooms are a MUST DO!!

Very cool!

Not sure it's worth the "preferred price" since it is FAR from a preferred location. But the theming is fantastic!

The beds were fabulous! Pillow Top and delightful to sleep on.

The resort grounds are beautiful, maybe in need of a slight upgrade, but the POOL . . . WOW beautiful!!

Nice outside pool bar/eating area too. We noticed they had fine wires strung over the eating area, so there would be NO BIRDS! (Nice touch!)

After the kids dipped their feet in the pool, played in the arcade and Dad and I had a cocktail . . . it was back to the room to get ready for our ADR at WGP! YUMMY!

Oh my goodness, what a fabulous job they did with the rooms. The pool looks awesome too.

Hi Jen, Love the TR! But I always like your TR's.

And now I know where we will be staying on our next trip back home. The pool area looks great. And I could lay in that hammock all day....

Thanks!!

The hammocks were on these little sandy beaches, so you can stick your feet in the sand as well!

The pool has TWO hot tubs, one near the main pool and one all by itself behind the slide!

After a freshen up, we hopped in the car and headed to DTD. CBR is really close! Parking wasn't too bad, and it was pretty crowded.

Mom and Dad bought their Seasonal FL Resident Passes - YAY!! Then we got our buzzer for WGP!

My Review:
Wolfgang pucks is a SUPER yummy place to eat. I had a starburst martini, and this fabulous steak with grilled onions -yum!

Altho it's a little loud in the downstairs dining room, it's still a fun atmosphere with a waterview, and now a view of Characters in Flight!

Service was slooooooooow . . . not so slow that you were like get me the heck out of here

but slow where you were like I'm thirsty already, where is my drink?

We were on the DDP, which is so confusing now without the tip included. Even the servers we spoke to were complaining. One told they used to get $5/person tip, now some people just completely forget too, or leave less.

Also, now there is a TWO step process, (one to show you the total, then a second to run your card or pick up cash for tip and have you sign) so it slows them down at the register, add in 2 or more plans per table for families traveling together and it becomes a NIGHTMARE!

Honestly I wouldn't mind it being a little more per day and including EVERYTHING again. It's just so much easier.

It was too windy, and Character's in Flight was grounded. After the sun went down, it started to take flight again! I opted to wait until it was daylight to ride it, what can you see in the dark but a bunch of lights!

The balloon is HUGE in real life, and does go really high. TOTAL $$$ MAKER. That thing didn't stop all night!

Seriously, I totally agree. It was so much easier when everything was just included. I am STILL waiting for them to say you can choose one appetizer instead of a dessert w/dinner on the plan. I love dessert but in October I was craving so many appetizer items. I would rather skip the sweets sometimes and opt for an appetizer of some sort. They are of comparable prices, I don't get why that's not an option!!

The pool is a lot better since last time I was there! I also which everything was included in the dining plan we are going to have a stash of 5s and 1s just for tip!
