The road trip up was fast and simple! We were excited, since this was the first time we have ever stayed at Caribbean Beach Resort and to top it off we had a PREFERRED Pirate Room!

We arrived around 3pm, so check in was fast and the room was ready. The CM points to the map at the room location. I do this I thought it was a preferred room? I was told it is, since it's Pirate themed!

When I pay an UP-CHARGE I expect more then theming, I want location, location, location! this room was a good 15 minute walk from the main pool/food/shop!

Anyway, the room did NOT DISAPPOINT!! If you are a pirate fan you will LOVE THIS ROOM!!

OMG! You didnt know that about this room? I looked into it last year when we went and I posted somewhere about that on MB. The pirate theming is nice but I like to be close OPR.

Well I had read it was "far away" but I didn't realize it was the LAST BUILDING ON THE PROPERTY!!! We could see POP right over the trees!

It was still an AWESOME room! Parking was easy . . . and the walk NOT TOO BAD once you got used to it. We would go to the park and then just pack our suits and change in the bathroom then drive back to the room when we were done swimming.

My DDs still talk about going back and staying in a PIRATE ROOM!
