" Mothers Day "
Another stellar GardenGrocer.Com breakfast to start off with ... I had been lugging around a monster bottle of Versace "Bright Crystal" since our arrival and finally gave it to her with some Mickey Mouse Mother's Day Cards that I had found at home before we came to WDW. We planned the morning for Downtown Disney and our first stop was "Design a Tee". We all picked the Pirate Mickey Shirt and for the heading we chose " The Beatings Will Continue Until the Morale Improves" ... But the guy behind the counter said they would not allow the word "Beating" sooooooo ... We went with the basic heading of ARRRRRRRGH ! ! ! The price for all 3 shirts ran about $80 and we were pleased with them. (We all wore them on the plane home). We (the DD and I ) also got Mommy a big Figment stuffed animal at Pooh's Corner ... She loves Figment!!!

While we shopped around a bit we decided to hit the Golden Arches for lunch since it was the only time my little DD could have a Happy Meal !!!! After a good day of shopping and snapping pics we headed back to the hotel and a quick dip in the pool .... We had Reservations at 1900 Park Fare lined up for Dinner.

I had planned our Dinner 3 months in advanced and was hoping to get a room at the GF for Mother's Day night so we could eat and then I would suprise her by spending the night there and watching the fireworks from the GF room. They never had an opening come up for a Park View Room... Bummer!
We did have a Wonderful time watching our DD dance with "Cindy" and the two step sisters (Who were hilarious), plus the fact that I snarfed a whole Prime Rib!!! (Almost)
Like I tell people "Just tear off the horns and the hooves and watch out !!!".

I did get to order a cake for the DW and they brought it out after my carnage of the prime rib, It was a beautiful white cake with marbled frosting that look like it came from "The Ace of Cakes" ... it really was amazing! It brought a tear to my eye cuz I knew it would taste good ! Ha' (and it did)
The DW was suprised and happy , She said she had a wonderful "Mothers Day" and I'm was proud of that !!!

Our DD finally got to see the Prince , and he took her hand and with Cindy they danced around with the other children. She was having a ball and it was our best night yet. We had planned on timing our meal so that we could catch the Monorail over to the Kingdom to catch "Wishes" but we grew tired and so we head back to the room and watched it from bus as we drove away... It looked pretty neat sitting on a bus! Our day seemed like it was short , we thought about a night swim but decided on the comfort of the room and somemore of that Cake .... YES SIR !

Oh, 1900 Park Fare sounds so nice! I am so glad to hear a recent review of the food for dinner...we always do the CRT, but have been disappointed so we are this year celebrating my son's 11th birthday at 1900 instead (he just loves! Cinderella!!)

Your daughter looks like she is having a blast - got any pics of she and the Prince?

Gotta love 1900 park fare. I must say that has to be the best looking prince I've ever seen there. Usually they look more like goofy

I have a pic of my DS at Epcot very similar to you DD in front of the castle. Love the trip report so far. This pic was taken many, many year ago. He was only 7 and now he is graduating high school next week. Enjoy every second with your DD. You all look like you are having a blast.

The prime rib looks soooooo good with mashed potatoes. and I love your DD pink dress. She looks so cute in her pic with (prince charming?). I can't wait to read more.

I still laugh thinking about the two Wicked Stepsisters , They were great and pretty much stayed on our side of the room . They posed with those gawdy smiles, it's was funny. A family at a table beside us was yelling for them to come over and talk to them while visiting a child at another table and they both replied back " Hey, your spoiling this little girls MAGIC over here !!!!"

They made the whole experience fun, and the DD dancing with Cindy and the Prince was a moment I'll never forget. I did not snap any pics of that but I did video them and have it in my "Mothers Day" portion of our DVD that I make with every trip. The more I type about it, the more I'm ready to head back again!

Love the pictures. This is our favorite character spot because the stepsisters are so funny. That cake looks very yummy! And I love the pic of your DD with the prince - so beautiful! Really enjoying your TR!

Not to jump the gun here but I thought I would show all a pic of the DD when we got home from our trip ... She had to put on a Mickey/Minney Dress we bought while there and fell asleep in her bed with her baby .. "Dixen" clinging to her leg ...

Sweet picture. I love the way the cat has one paw on her leg. Hmmm, when I slept with my DGD, I held onto her ankle to make sure she didn't fall off the bed. Do you have a trained kittie that does the same thing???
