Day 2- Epcot

Yeah we got to sleep in....a little. Woke up around 7:15 and was waiting for the bus by 8:30. Got into Epcot just as it was opening. Characters on Holiday were all around when we got there. We met Mr. Smee, Dopey (who gave me a kiss) and the White Rabbit. All the characters were pretty much standing around waiting for people. Lucky for us I guess. We headed over to Test Track but there was already a 45 min. wait. We tried to Fast Pass but they printed out blank and we couldn't get another one for an hour. I guess I should have said something, but there were other things we wanted to do. We went to Ellen's Energy Adventure. I really like the Ellen and Bill Nye storyline. When we entered the ride part we realized there was hardly anybody there. We had the whole car to ourselves. I remember waiting for an hour to ride this when I was little. I also remember being scared to death of the dinosaurs. Next we went to Wonders of Life and did Body Wars and Cranium Command. Hans and Franz rule as the heart!! We skipped Innoventions for now because we were hungry. We had pastries at this little cafe near Innoventions. They were the best I ever had. Next we were off to Mexico. We rode the ride and did some shopping. We went to Norway and rode Maelstrom. I always liked that ride. We skipped over to Japan for our PS at Teppanyaki Dining Room. It was a little uncomfortable sitting with strangers. No one really seemed to care about who else was sitting at the table. Our chef was really funny. He made a smoking volcano out of onion slices. The food was good and the atmosphere was great. I would recommend this to anyone. After lunch we back tracked and hit China, Germany, and Italy. We had seen the American Adventure the day before so we just skipped that too and went to Morocco. Aladdin and Jasmine were there so I stopped to get my picture taken. In France we saw the movie which made me sick in the stomach ( I think it was the heat) and then waited to see Belle and the Beast. I walked up and Belle said, "Hello Princess how are you" I felt just like a little kid again. That is my favorite memory of the whole trip. We walked through the shops at the United Kingdom. In the back of the toy store we stumbled upon Tigger all by himself playing with a puzzle. He motioned for us to come over and play with him. It was so much fun. A lady came up and took our picture. From then on I wasn't so nervous interacting with the characters. Next we went to Canada which I would have to say is my favorite country there. I love the Roots store! It was looking like a thunderstorm so we went over to the Mexican cantina for supper. We decided to got back to All Star Movies for a swim and watch some TV. The next day was our relaxing day-we were going to Downtown Disney. The pool was so relaxing after a long day. We got a drink and then went to bed.

i was just lucky running into all of the characters i met. i started one thread called character greetings that you can find in the mouse trap. someone posted a message that has a link to a website that'll show you where to meet EVERY character at their designated parks. it's a really good chart.
