We ordered pizza one night and went there for lunch another day and it was very good.

We were going to do a dolphin tour but the last 3 days of our trip were pretty rainy so we didn't get to do it. We talked about renting bikes but no one in our group really wanted to so we didn't.

A weggie is a sandwich that's made with pizza crust. The pizza crust is folded in half over the filling then baked, yum!

It was a good family vacation, there was a lot of down time to just chill and enjoy some time together.

Oh, it sounds like a calzone. In Buffalo, we had a place that made them, they called them Pods. :)

Excellent! We've talked about doing Hilton Head several times and have had problems pulling the trigger. I'm sure your TR will point us in the right direction.

I am trying to convince my family there are other vacations besides Disney, but my kids just want WDW-not complaining though!! We are thinking about going to Sanibel Island in FL in a couple years.

Oooh, great pics! It really looks like a personal condo at the beach. I love all of the homey touches.

My cousin tells me that you have to take some tram to the beach from the Disney resort. Did you find this to be an inconvenience or part of the fun?

You don't have to take the bus to the beach house but you can. We had 2 cars but still used it a few times. The drivers were very nice and we could call when we were at the bus stop and they were there in 5 minutes.

We really did enjoy HHI but I did miss WDW a tiny bit. However, we do want to go other places and this was a nice change from a super busy Disney vacation. My husband and son both golf and I love the sun so it was a great place to go for some true family time. There are SO MANY actvities to choose from, your family will surely find plenty to do to keep you busy. There are also a lot of very good restaurants to pick from, you'll have trouble picking just one a day.

I didn't get any pictures of the second bedroom but it had two queen beds and a huge corner to keep stuff in since it was a dedicated 2 bedroom (no door to the outside in second bedroom).

The deck was awesome and the weather was so beautiful that we could actually use this all day/evening.
