Re: A very HOT trip to the World!!
OMG, I have to be honest, Disney is TOTALLY trying to save money on A/C we were saying this our WHOLE trip. We would go into stores to try & get away from the heat just to be smacked in the face by a wall of INSIDE heat. There were SOOOOOO many stores, attractions, waiting areas that are NORMALLY nice & cool that were completely HOT! It was frustrating.

Re: A very HOT trip to the World!!
That doesn't bode well for the end of Sept. when we go! Any chance it will be a little cooler Sept.26 - Oct.4? I have heart problems and I'm afraid the rooms at Pop may be too warm. |

We went down to the front desk, talked to someone, & all of the sudden magically our A/C felt colder. So, who knows.

Re: A very HOT trip to the World!!
Day 6
We srarted our day out at Hollywood Studios since it was Star Wars weekends. That did not last too long as the crowds were heavy. Had it been a different time of year we may have stuck it out but it was only 9:30 am and it was already too hot!! We went to check out TSM and the wait was 100 minutes-no thanks. If I remember correctly we ran into Muppet Vision at my DD's request and to get out of the heat!! After that we headed out to the bus to head to Epcot-I think we ended up waiting a good 30 minutes for a bus!!!! We chose to head to Epcot because we had a 4:15 pm reservation at LeCellier-the first of 2 reservations there this trip. Since dinner was so early and we were meeting up with some family, we did not go back to the resort in the afternoon. We got our time for the Kim Possible thingie-do not remember what it is called-but it is definitely worth doing!! It is awesome how interactive it is!!!! My kids had a blast and did not want to stop!!!!Prior to our KP time we went into Innovations and played the Recycling game-it was fun!!! As we were walking along we looked up and there was Princess Aurora, all by herself with no one around!! We jumped on that opportunity and got some good phototpass pics. Unfortunately the regular camera pics did not turn out!! We had gotten FP for TT and decided to head over there to use them. Along the way my DS asks my DH if he could hold his FP. My husband told him to hold on to it and DO NOT DROP it!! About 2 minutes later we were walking by the Character Connection where they are doing construction and there is a big wooden wall. All of a sudden my DS dives onto the ground yelling, "my fastpass!" Not only did he drop it, but it got sucked under the wall Fortunately, there was a really nice CM in the Character Connection who gave us a fastpass good for all 4 of us!!!!My DH's cousin and her family live in Orlando and were coming to meet up with us. They got there just as we were getting in line for TT. They were able to ride with us since we still had the 3 other FP from before the mishap!! After riding Nemo(I the birds out front----mine, mine, mine!!)and Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, we headed over to Canada for our ressie. I went in and tried to get 3 more added to out reservation and he said it was not possible , so our cousin and her family walked around Epcot and ate dinner on their own.We were so majorly dissappointed in LeCellier!!!! We ate there last year and it was the best meal of the trip. As a matter of fact my DH only agreed to 2 weeks in WDW if we did LeCellier twice!! The food was not that good!!!! Maybe it was because we were not super hungry...I don't know. But we left there disappointed!! It was also unnerving that they could not ad 3 more to our ressie, but there were tons of empty tables and waiters standing around during our meal!!!!I know that at some point during the day we rode Spaceship Earth without a wait and we did Soarin on a FP-that is a great ride!! I also give Sunshine Season thumbs up!! They have a great selection!! After dinner we headed to MK to get my DD her dress for BBB that was the next day, not realizing that they sold the same dress in Epcot!!!!!!! Oh well, we got to see what it was like to be in 3 parks in 1 day!!! We said good-bye to our family with intentions of heading to their house to watch the Shuttle Launch in the morning..............................

Re: A very HOT trip to the World!!
Great TR. When we went in January I had these little Golden tickets four for each park for everyone in our party. (Disney charged my CC by accident for something that they should not have) For the 90 minute fairy wait we used the golden ticket and got to go to the front of the line. It was AMAZING!

Re: A very HOT trip to the World!!
[color="Olive"]Day 7
Well, the alarm went off at 4:30 am so we had enough time to get up and see the shuttle launch. Thank goodness I checked the Kennedy Space Center website before I woke the entire family up!! Launch was cancelled, I believe, due to a fuel leak and tentatively rescheduled for later in the week. So, back to bed I went!! Once we were up and about we headed to our cousin's house anyway, and just relaxed by their pool for a while. But, we had to watch the time since DD had a 1 pm appointment at BBB in the castle!!!!!!!!!!!!! She had never done this before and was really excited. She had already decided she wanted to be Belle!! The BBB was a wonderful experience and her "Fairy Godmother" really took her time with her and made her feel special!! As we were leaving the BBB, a Cm came running up to us and asked if we purchased her dress in the BBB. I told her no, that we purchased it the night before on Main Street. She pointed out a big rip in the side of the dress!! She told us to take it back and they will exchange it without any problem. So, back down Main Street we went, and they took it back---no questions asked!! She made it almost all day in her dress-it was close to 100 degrees-I tried to get her to change several times!! Around 4 pm she finally agreed to change into something cooler!! It was so cute because she got to meet the Princesses-only 30 minute wait-while all done up. And she rode all kinds of rides while dressed as Belle!! We headed out to the monorail because we had a 6 pm reservation at 1900 Park Fare. The food was not bad, but the atmosphere is fun!! My DS was not too thrilled about eating with the Princesses. He overheard Anastasia tell a table that Drucilla was "Godzilla"!! When Drucilla came to our table my son told her what Anastasia said. All of a sudden she screamed across the restaurant and said, Anastasia, this boy told me that you called me a big gorilla!!!! Did you call me Godzilla?!?!?" Of course they then started to fight-yelling across the restaurant. That totally made my DS night and he did not mind eating with Cinderella and the step-sisters!! After dinner a storm rolled through-it never rained but it dropped the temp quite a bit!! This was the night that we did the Photopass photo shoot in the GF-got some great pics!!
