I love the values too. I decided that if I ever go back I will always stay at value from now on and be able to afford a couple more days. (Our upcoming Poly trip is being paid for by my mommy!)

Just to answer an unasked question....There are health codes that prohibit restaruants to allow any buffet leftovers to be taken home. It is also a violation to allow employees to take them home. There are many reasons but the most important is the difficulty of temperature control on buffets. Its something called "Time and Temperature Control" and it is very serious. Now in most restaurants employees still take home the food b/c all reputible resturants are ok and have the "TTC" under control so they have nothing to worry about, they just do it on the sly b/c it is still a violation. So I would not get to upset about the food going in the garbage, I really doubt that happens...UNLESS Disney is REALLY strict.

I can not wait to try Kona and go to the Poly. Your pics are awesome!

Good to know about the food . . . makes PERFECT sense, since the items are sitting OUTSIDE in the HEAT for two hours plus . . . and some did have cream, butter, etc. I think next time I'm bringing tupperware though!

Yippee!!! We always come up for DD5 birthday Jan 29 . . . I might just have to add a day . . . or, if the birthday promotion is over just come in the middle weekend to see you guys!

OOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKKKKKK. I'm not sure how I feel about that yet. So they are vinyl Mickeys sold like baseball cards? You don't know what you are gonna get? How much does Disney get ya for?

Well they are 3D stand about 3" high . . . $9.95 each. It's fun cuz there is ONE per MYSTERY box . . . you can trade them too, if you can find someone to trade with.

They make them in pins too.

It's LUCK OF THE DRAW!! There are multiple series . . . I think they are on series #3 . . . you can get them on ebay too! But the fun for us is the blind box and the "surprise" inside!!

Finally was able to read through your tr, great as usual. I really loved the pictures you sent me, but reading your tr was even better. So sorry about your daughter's eyes, it must have been so freaky to see them that way.

The desserts at the fireworks party look absolutely amazing, I would have skipped dinner too, in favor of those.

KONA is absolutely wonderful. We go there on every trip, and actually like it better than Ohana. I agree the kids meal is weird, but we also have not had any trouble with substituting items there. My boys never really cared, since they knew they were going to get that Kona cone at the end.

And oh my goodness, Kidani looks like heaven on earth. I can not even imagine what it would be like to stay there.
