Next day the girls slept until 10:30am!

By 9:30 I was hungry, so I wrote DD9 a note, and ran to get breakfast, Mickey Head Waffles are a MUST!!! I got back to the room in about 15 minutes, and BOTH girls were still sleeping!

When DD9 woke up, I got the SHOCK of my life . . . both of her eyes were BLOOD RED . . . seriously, like someone poured red dye in her eyes! I was like OMG now what do we do?

I called the front desk, and they told me about the Centra Care. They offered to call the SHUTTLE for me, but I had a car so we just drove there.

3.5 hours later!!! The doc tells us it is either are chemical burn from the pool water or the early stages of pink eye? They also fill scripts here, so we got the drops and headed out the door.

I have to say, this was the saddest place ever! Every 30 minutes, a shuttle would pull up an dump out WDW guests . . . still in their hats, with pins around their necks . . . I would be so, so sad if this was my one and only trip to WDW and the kids got sick!

3-1/2 hours and you got an either/or response?! Uck!! I hope she was feeling okay enough to enjoy herself!

P.S. Just the thought of seeing all those WDW guests going to get medical care makes me sad. What a terrible thing to happen on a magical Disney vacation.

No we didn't. Since there was no crust or ooze I assume it was the pool chemicals. Whatever it was the drops cleared it up in about two days!

And the shuttle full of Disney guests was SO SAD! But you figure, how many guest are at Disney each day, there are a few that are bound to get sick!

I'm glad the drops cleared her eyes up quickly and it didn't ruin your trip.

My son's eyes get pretty red when he swims but they are never blood red. However, they always get red and it starts when he's in the pool. It gets worse in resort pools because I think the chemicals are higher than our pool at home.

I'm glad the drops worked!! Pinkeye would have been terrible, especially on such a short trip when you're trying to pack a lot in and enjoy every minute!

Now it was about 3pm, and we had dinner ressies at 5:30!

Trail's End at Ft. Wilderness . . . we were meeting Wishy and Erin!

We left the Doc and headed right to HS! We park the car, and hop on the tram. And THERE IS THAT BIG BLACK CLOUD AGAIN!! Now being a FL resident, I know how to beat it . . . The tram on the other hand DOES NOT!

We sit, and sit, and sit some more!! Here comes the rain, left, right, up, down. The three of us are huddled so tightly together! Of course some folks decide to pull out umbrellas.

The Tram operator says "Folks put down the umbrellas or I will stop the tram"

Folks DO NOT LISTEN!!

Tram Operator, "Driver STOP!!"

Well, stopping on a dime like that caused all the RAIN on the top of the tram to come over the top like a small tidal wave!

NOW I WAS MAD!! And it takes a LOT to make me MAD!!

We pull to the front of the park, and the Tram operator says "Everyone off!"

I don't move, NO WAY, NO HOW am I getting off a tram in a torrential downpour . . . DD9 is like Mom she said OFF! I say I don't care if we ride this around in circles I am not getting off until it stops raining!!

It was insane . . . I was so ready to tell off this CM! Just because she was wet she was making everyone else suffer!

I guess she just knew I was not getting off. So they swung the tram around to the pick up area . . .and what happened? The sun came out!

NOW WE GET OFF THE TRAM!!

These were VERY red! Even DD said, "Mom I look like a DEVIL!"

So we planned on hitting TSM, seeing LUXO JR and then heading to the UP! Characters . . . it was late in the day, so we knew we didn't have much time!

We headed to Pixar Place, and it started to drizzle again . . . TSM was down, and they felt it would be an hour before it was back up and Luxo, he was shorted out by the rain too . . . he was in the middle of a show when the rain hit! So we missed him!!

Wishy got to see him on her second try though . . . she'll have pictures for you!

We then headed to the animation building. I figured if it rains we'll be inside at least . . . AWESOME!!!! The UP! characters are sooooooo cute, and all the stuff they have from the movie is even cuter! We had a good time walking around and checking everything out!
