It was a short trip, but we really just relaxed and enjoyed it,
tried new dining which is always SO fun!!

Originally I'd heard McDonalds was pulling out of the parks, their contract was up and then did NOT renew .. . I believe they are out of MK and Epcot now. When we saw this boarded up a few months back we thought it was closed too . . .but this time is was all new and FRESH!!

Your TR is awesome! So may new things. If they keep the dessert party we are definitely going to try it. It looks so yummy and chocolate covered strawberries are my down fall. The picnic in the park thing looks neart too. We are definitely interested in trying that as well. I like the value resorts as well. Their theming is so FUN, but DH hates them. His favorite are the mods, of course he would love the deluxes if we could afford them. Your dd's are so adorable. I am so sorry about her eye. Have you been swimming there before? Wierd how it affected just dd. The resort Wish stayed at looks amazing. Another thing we have never tried before but I am tempted to try is Kona and WCC, were they really good? Should we try when we go in February. We should meet up in February! Thanks for the great pictures!

When are you going in Feb? Let's do it!! We don't need an arm twisting to meet in Disney!

Kona was FANTASTIC, but the kids menu was a little strange and that is what held me back. Grilled chicken strips with pasta and sauce?? Or fish? But they were good about substituting . . . DD9 can't wait to have the steak next year when she is 10! I should just pay outta pocket for her.

WC was OK! Not the best not the worst . . . if your kids like to be entertained during dining then it's good. Horse races, ketchup sillies, straw sillies . . . that kinda stuff. Breakfast was hearty and filled me up for sure. PLUS Wilderness Lodge is just so fun to explore!

It was BOTH EYES, it was very freaky . . . blood red . . . yuck! I'm assuming it was the pool? But you are right no one else was effected . . . drops cleared it up in two days, so all is good.

Where Wishy was staying was AMAZING . . . totally had me wanting DVC badly!!

Yeah, I know right. So many restaurants have adapted to a big kids meal, or else shelving the ages for that very reason....too big for one, not big enough for another.

I just got to read your TR! Your girls are THE BEST!!! Daniel loved them as well and we had so much fun with you guys! I still feel bad about the walk-in medical place, how terrible, but I agree that you guys live close enough where thankfully it wasn't a once in a lifetime trip that got ruined. Hope she's feeling better!

Our dates are not set in stone yet, but we are most likely going to be at Disney on Feb 6th through the 13th and then we will do the rental house in Kissimmee from the 13th through the 23rd. We always get the ten day pass to Disney so that we can still go to Disney the second week. So that is not a problem. The girls would probably get along so well.

I wanted to try Kona but am a little scared of the kids options my kids are super picky. DD doesn't like ANYTHING at O'hana's, but they make her a cheeseburger and french fries, how funny is that?

I think my husband will hate WCC, he hates having attention called to him and LOVES ketchup. He is just not a great people person. Don't get me wrong he is nice and stuff but he doesn't like socializing, lol!

Your TR is great, I really enjoyed all the pictures and opinions. I am going through Disney Withdrawals. I always do when it is nice up here and I think about our trips, and our trip is sooo far away :(

Check the Kona menu on allears . . . see what they offer. But, like I said they were good about the substitution. I wouldn't give it up for the kids! They had ice cream sundaes for dessert-that filled them up.

OH, and when I was at WGP last time, there was NOTHING DD5 wanted, she just asked for fruit salad. They brought it for her, and didn't charge me her sit down off the DDP. We just used it for a counter service later in the trip. Disney is soooooo kid friendly that way.

I told DD9 next time she'll have to bring her own ketchup . . . they sell the mini room service size ones at Targets dollar spot!

I would love to drive up and meet you guys one of the weekends you are "in town" that would be FUN!
