Since this was a holiday weekend we decided to take a day off from the parks today and relax a little. We had breakfast at Kona Cafe at the Poly - had to try the Tonga Toast. Very good - huge! Decided to go to DTD. DH decided we should walk to TTC and take bus from there. When we found the bus stops we were told no buses go to DTD from TTC! Ugh! It was so hot already! Walked back to Poly to their new bus stop in front of Neverland Club (as a side note: Neverland Club looked SO cute! Had stuff to do for kids of all ages! DD was too young to stay - have to be 4 yrs. next trip we will definately take advantage of this service and enjoy an adult nite out!) went to DTD. Was pretty crowded, did some shopping while DD and DH played in Once Upon a Toy. Had a root beer float at Ghiardellis yum!

Back to hotel for a swim. Had lunch at Capt Cook's for the 1st time. Service was terrible, very disorganized! There were 4 girls taking orders, but only 1 very slow woman getting the orders together. Was not very efficient. Hamburg wasn't very good either. One good thing was they had the "Uncrustable" peanutbutter and jelly sandwiches in a lunchbox with raisins for DD - she loved that!

After nap went to WL for PS at Whispering Canyon. Took monorail to MK and then boat to WL. There was quite a wait at the boat launch. The same boat services WL and the campground. A boat came and dropped off guests, but said couldn't take any new guests b/c of some problem. Waited 15 more min for new boat. We were about 10 min late for PS. Not to complain again, but found boat service very slow. Glad we didn't have to rely on boat for transportation every day. Loved WL, DH said he would like to stay there next time. I just wish it had monorail service. Anyways CM said no problem that we were late, DD had fun playing with the huge lincoln log table set up in the waiting area. Were were seated within 10 min in a back room. Definately far from all the action. Our server was fun, but wasn't really playing along with ketchup and all that stuff :whistle:. They did call all kids to the main room for pony races DD had a ball! The Cm who was the ringleader was so funny. Then all the kids had to circle around a man whose bday it was -very funny! The food was quite good. I actually like the beef stew the best (we had the skillet), baked beans were too crunchy, ribs were good, chicken good, cornbread awesome! Didn't have dessert, but DD had chocolate cake/pudding with gummy worms.

Back to the hotel for swimming. Its amazing each night the pool was packed - just like during the day! We really liked the volcano pool. DD didn't have to climb down a ladder to get in, you just walk in like at an ocean! Watched fireworks while in the pool! It doesn't get much better than this!:love:

Yes, you are right it sounds like it doesn't get much better. Family and Disney World make quite a pair!
