The Birthday Trip - Day 3
Had planned to meet the rest of the family at the gates shortly before opening. The bus didn't get to the resort until 10 minutes before opening! There was a CM at the bus stop who I guess is supposed to be trying to coordinate transportation, but she even said she didn't know where the bus was. Finally got there & had a nice day. Got our lattes & Rafikiman & DD went & played in the wave pool. I laid out in the sun for awhile, then we all went & did Lazy River. It's really my relaxing day so I went back & laid out some more just popping in at the edge of the wave pool occasionally to cool off. After lunch they did the wave pool for a little while longer & then we left. The rest of the family was going to Sea World for the rest of the day, so we went back to the room, changed, & then went to MGM. Went to get FP for ToT & then went to see the Great Movie Ride. When we came out it was pouring. It only lasted for about 20 minutes though. We walked through the shops for awhile & then hit 50's Prime Time for our 5:55 PS. Very crowded as usual, but we didn't have to wait very long. The food was great, as usual. Rafikiman & I got the fried chicken & meatloaf & shared the 2 'cause we can never decide which one we want. Our waitress even bragged on Rafikiman for cleaning his plate. We decided over dinner that we would hit DTD after our FP for ToT so we passed on dessert. After ToT we headed for DTD. Boy, did that trip hit our pocketbooks! I just love that Disney store! And then they had some really nice stuff in the home store that I just couldn't pass up! Went to Ghiradelli's for dessert & it was delicious. I had the cable car & even though I'm a chocaholic I couldn't finish it! Finally headed back home 'cause we knew we had a big day coming up. The next day our baby girl was turning 18!

oh I am so glad this day sounded like it got better for you ( except the transportation problem) It s sounding like you had a great time
