Tigger Trip Report!

Ok here it is finally...We went to WDW last weekend. Meet my sister, brother-in-law, and nephew. I keeping this to a brief...there is so much more detail and we had such a great time.

Got in Thursday afternoon. Got settled into the All Star Movie (Toy Story) and spent the night at Mickey's Back Yard BBQ. We all had fun eat'n and dancing with the Characters. Was Loud but hey it was a party!

Mickey's BYBBQ *** (three stars)

[My sisters flight was held up by a storm so they got in a little late. A CM named Anthony got a van and drove us over to Mickey's BYBBQ! Anthony's ratings ***** (5 stars!)]

Friday. We all meet at AK rode the rides saw the sights. Ate at Tuskers, got a free ice cream (we split a sandwich and drank water we carried in). Rides; DINOSAUR **** (4 stars) great must ride, Kali River Rapids **** (4 stars) you will get wet you might get soaked - we wore a quick dry clothes just for this ride, Kilimanjaro Safaris ***** (5 stars) best ridden early in the morning - had a lot more animals then the last time we rode - the rino followed our truck for a while, Tough to be a bug *****(5 stars) Great! if you loved the movie you'll love this 3-D short, we spent time doing the treks and trails.

We (DW and I) left a early for a dinner at Fulton's Crab House and La Nouba. Both get ***** (5 stars). If you can work it in go see La Nouba. If you like sea food eat at Fulton's (I had the king crab claws, DQ had Australian Lobster tails). Spent the rest of the night exploring DDD.

Saturday. Went to MK. Did to much to list here...we took our nephew for the afternoon and night so my sister and brother-in-law could go out for night on the town. My nephew only wanted to ride Buzz's Spin, over and over again (ok only 4 times). Watch the Dream parade, took a nap, went to Epcot took DW and Nephew to Le Cellier in Canada and then watch IllumiNations.

Sunday. Epcot. Mission Space ***** (5 stars) if you follow the instructions you will not get sick...well you might but it is well worth it. Bring some protein to eat afterward (helped all of us get over any effects of the ride), we had some beef jerky. We spent the morning in Future world then went to Disney - MGM for the rest of the day. We split up after the Muppet Movie and rode the rides. DW and I saw the One Man's Dream ***** (5 stars), if you love Disney go see this.
We ate at the Sci-Fi Diner ** (2 stars) it was ok, not great, I would go back to have a shake or dessert but not a meal.

Monday. Started with Chef Mickey's **** (4 stars) then said good-bye to my sisiter and Family. Spent the morning at MK re-rode some of our favorite rides and got to do a preview of Phiharmagic ***** (5 stars) best 3-D movie I have ever seen! Went to AK to see Tarzan Rocks, Parade, Festival of the Lion King and redo some of the trails (we love AK). Off to AKL for dinner at Jiko **** (4 stars) I had the lamb shank, DW had the Quail. DDD did some shopping and spent the rest of the night at Disney Quest. I'm proud to let you all know that my DW and I our "Masters of the High Seas"! All by ourselves second time on PoC.

Tuesday. Packed, Checked bags, went to World Show Case at EPCOT. Walked around for a bit grabbed a bite at the Cantia de San Angel in Mexico. *** (3 stars)

Later that afternoon we boarded our plane back to the "woods".

If anyone can give us any reasons why not to move to FLA please IM me.

Great report, tigger!

I agree the Philharmagic was DEFINITLY the best 3-D show ever. We were so lucky to have seen it early, don't you agree?

kphil&rengland- Only 6 days!! You guys are so lucky, it will be here before you know it. Here's hoping to the next 6 days flying by for you, and time standing still while you are there;) .

Thanks everyone! We did so much, it was so much fun, it was way to short.

For you guys getting ready to go, when you get there slow down and savour it. You will be heading home before you know it...

Great report.You squeezed alot in.We did the same a couple of weeks ago.4 parks 4 days just isn't enough!:cry: I live in Florida and I can give you one reason,IT IS HOOOOOOT!:dazed You forgot to mention that in your report.:laugh

Wonderful report!

Reasons not to move to Orlando area...
Would need to take less vacation to visit the House of Mouse.
Just a quick hop to to the House of Mouse; no airplane ride needed.
No snow to put up with.
Magical times just around the corner.

Oh wait, you said to list reasons not to move, didn't you? I am sorry, I can't come up with any! :D

Great report Tigger... thanks for posting it. (AND the pix...everyone here knows how I am picture crazy!;)) Love the one of Mickey's hat. For some reason, mine never comes out that well.

Reasons not to move to FL.... hmmm.... let me think on it......

Nope! ;) I figure within the next 20 years or so... everyone on DC will be neighbors in Orlando....
