Your report is well written and all of your descriptions make me feel like I am right there with you guys. I too, made the ear popping mistake. It happens to the best of us. Can't wait to read the rest!:D

What a fun day from start to finish. Except for the whole SIL & BIL thing...that was kinda wrong. I too, loved the Whispering canyon's fun atmosphere. The CM's there make the meal fun. All of the Cm's I encountered at the WL were wonderful. I did not know that peacocks flew. Can't wait to read the rest.

yeah... she can be good at it, but luckily she did not pout too much... actually she did very good and did not even ask for much... we had to remind her that she had $50.00 from good behavior that she could spend, but we used this to start teaching the value of money and when it came to her money she never wanted to spend it...

She is always willing to spend mine... just like her mother!! :) :cry:

Great second day (if you exclude the in-laws). We stayed at WL in July and fell in love with it, the atmosphere is wonderful. I remember actually remember Jennifer from the gift shop. We were in the gift shop every day to pick up packages and she was always so nice. We ate at WCC twice and I liked breakfast better than dinner. We had hot food and it was really pretty good but you are right, the CMs make the meal. Next time you are at FW try Trails End for breakfast, I hear it is the best breakfast on WDW property, and it's a good deal too.

Loved your report.Had me glued to the screen.:laugh Keep venting it makes it even more interesting:laugh I just hope the inlaws don't ever discover DC!:laugh We love Ft.Wilderness ,and have stayed there our last 2 trips in the cabins.Trails End is good for all meals.We havn't tried WCC yet,but that is on my list for next time.

Day 3 & 4

I am combining these days because not much to tell…

Both days we got up and went to viewings of time shares!!! Mainly so that BIL and SIL could provide some entertainment for their children! Not our favorite thing to do in the world, but we are interested in a time share… so not a complete waste of our time. At the one on Tuesday we insisted that we be allowed to leave at 10:00 AM it started at 9:00 AM, I would not give them more than 60 minutes! The one on Monday took 150 minutes of my vacations!! :devil: They held to their end, but we had to push hard for that.

We then left for universal… Two days???!… NOT a favorite for us. We truly understand the Disney magic now. Universal has some stuff to offer, but we were not impressed. Having just gone to Universal in Hollywood, CA in June of 2002 we had HIGH expectations we were disappointed! I would not go back to Universal FL again… My Sister and Brother-in-law really like this park… but they normally go in the peak… they did not have a lot of the stuff that they normally have… we were not thrilled. Absolutely not enough for two days…

I could vent right here :devil but I am going to refrain! I need to chill out we had an awesome vacation and need to focus on the good times! Right?? :cry:

Highlights:

:) Brooke got to have picture and autographs from:
Shaggy & Scooby Doo, Woody & Winnie Woodpecker, Barney (Must Have!), Curious George, Tommy (Rugrats), Fiona & Shreck, Sponge Bob Square Pants

:) Got to be on one of the finale showings of Slimed on the Nick Channel… Oct. 24th
So you can see me on National TV THIS Friday 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM EST between the cartoons on the Nic Channel! :D :D

:) Brooke always enjoys a good swim, both days we were able to enjoy the resort and swim and relax.

:) On Monday, Melissa and I had the opportunity to go to downtown Disney just to enjoy some alone time and to be together! :love: This was highlight for me… I really enjoy when we can get some time like that… it is very few and far between right now…

Tomorrow we finally begin our Disney tour!!! 4 Days in the Disney parks… we are really looking forward to this!... Well, it was supposed to be 4 days!! Yikes… you will have to keep reading to understand!

I love cliff hangers!! :whistle:

I'm glad you and DW got to have some alone time. What did ya'll do at DTD? Your in-laws crack me up. Did ya'll plan a trip together or did they just kind of show up?
Last question (sorry to be full of them)--Did ya'll do Islands of Adventure? If so, did you like it? We are thinking of doing IOA and Sea World next trip along with some Disney. DH is having a hard time convincing me though--my heart belongs to Disney.:heart :heart I'd like to do a day or two at Sea World but am not to excited to go to Universal. Let me know what you think.

No we did not do IOA :( After more review we would have liked that park better! Sea World also looked very promising... some of my frustration and disappointment probably came from Universal not being in the original plan!! Having said that I had a good attitude going in, DW and I went to CA Universal and loved it! So I had an open mind going in... but many things were closed and being refurbished and just looked run down somewhat... :cry: So we did not have fun and only stayed a few hours each day... Just not much to do... plus first ride was ET and Brooke absolutly hated it!
