10 Days trip - Day 1- Charlene
Well every thing went smoothly Travel wise. We were up at 4 am Flight on time- Kids were pleasant..rental car available immediately with no hidden cost....It was going great. The weather was nice 84 and sunny.
We check in to our hotel....Holiday Inn Family Suites...No trouble here at all ..even a free early check in. The room was a little smaller than I would have liked but it was clean. We were there early enough to get free breakfast. It was ok but nothing I could eat all week long. We unpacked and played in the game room then took a short nap because this night was MNSSHP for us. We arrived at 6pm parked and got right in. BOY was it crowded...
now we were here in 2000 on Halloween and I think the crowds must have tripled. All the lines for the free family photos were impossibly long. So we decided to skip it. Although the park it self was packed, the lines for attactions were no longer than 10 minutes...Hauted masion being the longest. Continued below

We saw Philhamagic for the first time....THIS WAS AWESOME......The best show Disney now has to offer in my book. My kids were falling out their chair laughing and trying to capture the 3 d images.
We rode Goofys Barnstormer, Pohh, Buzz, the carousel,sm.world,H.Mansion,Philharmagic,slapsh&sp ace mts, minnies&Mickeys house. My DS(3) was dressed as Superman, and when we saw Pooh and friends we were the only ones in the tent. So Tigger took michaela and flew around the tent with him. Our pictures turned out great! Best:Tigger and Michael Worst : crowds and no MNSSHP picture:cry: We were so tired..... we left the park at 11:30

DAY 2 ..Charlene... Hey are reading this????
After the late night we decided to sleep in alittle and go to Epcot after 11.
Well we got there and the lines at the turnstiles were Super long.:( So we just picked one and waited and waited and waited. Here it turns out the ticket machine computer line was down. Well you could have fried eggs on all the mad peoples heads. Finally it got up and working and we were on our way. The bus of Characters was parked in front , all the "usual" chracters were busy but poor Baloo was just standing there. So leave it up to my DS (3) who saw him and then tippy toed up behind him and give him a GOOSE ( a poke from behind.) Baloo jumped up and turned around. My son was laughing so hard he was snorting!!!! Then we did Spaceship earth...I know people think that is a dinosaur but I really love this. Its like a small world how can they think of changing it? We then Conquered Future world..all except TestTrack which had a 70 min wait and the FP were depleted.:madmad I was disappointed cause I missed this last time. But the good new is we did try Mission Space. I thought it was good but not as good as the hype. The que time really makes you think you are gonna loose it but i didnt get queesy at all...Good Old Iron stomach I guess....But my DM said once was enough for her! After all this we had 5pm Ps at Coral Reef. I enjoyed the atomosphere bit thought the selection was slim and quite overpriced. For 3 adults and 3 children (1 app and 2 drinks) it was 160.00(plus tip) ...But I had swordfish with Plaintains and it was GOOD. Best: Baloo and Michael Worst: Broken Turnstiles and Long Lines to get in

I am enjoying your trip report! Keep it coming! We hope to do MNSSHP in 2005 for DD's birthday! Were most of the people trick or treating and that is why the lines were short??? Did you see the headless horseman? That sounds soo cool!

As for the treat or treating...Well yes the lines were long and there are only a handful. My advice is keep hitting the short ones right in a row. There was 4 in frontierland so we kept going in a circle. There are so many people there the CM didnt notice. But there are alot in Toontown. What we did was to wait later in the night to go over there. Alot of people cleared out and so did the lines for everything. We are night owls even the 3 y.o. so we stayed almost till the very end . Plus at the end of the niht they gave out handfuls. As we exited the park they gave us a bundle of promotional bags for Bro. Bear and H. Mansion Movies. I mean a bundle we had 20 of them. Keep in mind we were their on Halloween Night and it was sold out. One CM said there was 33,000 people there....double of what they sold last year. If you went on onlther night earlier in the month maybe the crowds wouldnt be so great.

Charlene Day 3 Animal Kingdom
WAKE UP!!!! Its alrady 7 am and we have to be there before 9!
we ate our free breakfast..(I have now switched strictly to cereal at this point because the key word there is free not quality)....Then Off to the Animal Kingdom...The weather was Breezy and warm. We arrived before the gates open and waited about 15 minutes before they let us in. We headed straight to Kilimanjaro Safari and walked right on. We saw all the major animals lions zebras and the elephants so I was happy! Then straight over to Kali river rapids. NO LINE...We all piled on and my DM(age 50 something) got soaked. I never laughed so hard. I almost started to hyperventalate.Well I guess my mom got her revenge, because their wasnt anyone in line the CM let us stay on and I was next to get it. Back for a third time in a row my DD (8) was Kalis next victim. We then explored the Maharajah Jungle Trek. We ate Lunch at Flame tree. Ribs for all 3 adults kids meals for the 3 kids Bill came to $60.00 ...Back over to Fest. of Lion King. We had great seats and the signing was incredible. However we sat right next to Simba and you could see the Mechanism in his neck..Like the hair was not thick enough or something or it was wearing away. Weird.. Then over to Dinoland. Me and DD(8) did Primevil Whirl. Yike I need a chiropracter after that one. My DH and the two little ones did the Tricera top Spin and palyed the game while we rode. My Dm smoked(I am a avid NON smoker so this started to wear on my nevers alittle by the end of the day) We then headed toward tough to be a bug and my DD(5) Freaked out during it. We sat exactly where 10 foot tall Hopper popped out. But it was so loud you couldnt hear her screaming...She did stick it out till the end. Our last trip we saw tarzan and Pochahontas So DH and wanted to do DInosaur and DM agreed to watch the kids while we rode(more smoking) I love Dinosaur and it made it better because my Dh was there last visit I had to ride myself and I was on the ride with a family of Japanese tourist and I looked like the Dinosaur in the back of the car! By this time we rapped things up and It got us home in time to Watch Our Eagles Play..We went to Damons steakhouse and spent a fortune on wings and beer but it was worth it cause the Birds WON! PROS : everything Cons : My smoking Mother

DAY 4 - Charlene- MGM
Trying to rattle The kids this morning was hard. But Finally we were on our way and arrived at MGM by 10 am.
We had only a 5 minute que for Star Tours and My DD (5) Decided after Tough to Be a bug the day before she would sit this one out. So My DH sat with her as we decided to try a child swap. The CM was super nice and said the rest of our party could ride twice. It went very smoothly. Then we went over to see Indiana Jones...It was ok I thought it would be better, but the effects we cool. My DM and DH agreed. Afterwards DH and DM took DD(8) and DS(3) on Muppets while I shopped with DD(5) who was still leary of rides at this point. I bought a nice velcroe wallet to keep our annual passes in with Mickey and his pals on the front. Kids were complaining they were hungry and Pizza Planet was overcrowed..I really wanted to get pizza but we couldnt find any seats, So we ventured over to the ABC Commissary. 6 people -45.00 We were dissapointed. With all the children in Disney they could have a better selection for them. FISH Nuggets ew? Well I decided to get a Talluah wrap and thought it was gonna be turkey..WOW was I wrong. Very yucky. It was like parsley and hummus...Pass over those left over fries.... After Lunch we decided to split up. We had purchased these walkie talkies(2 way radios) with a 5 mile radius motorola brand. Well They STUNK. I couldn't make out a word and the things I could hear were other parties conversation. So we went with our cell phones instead.(i cant wait to see the bill). Anywho,,,DM,DD(8) and I went to the great Movie Ride,a classic in my book, and My DH took the younger kids to Playhouse Disney. I though he was going to the Honey I shrunk the movie set palyground. So I was disappointed that I didnt get to see Stanley and the great big book of everything (yes I am 33 years old but I love that little guy!)We met up at Little Mermaid and DD(5) was still spooked so DH now took the to the playground while We watched the show. You know how when you see a seated show when you enter you have to move all the way tho the left. well of course the row we had had a non english speaking family Plunk down in the middle. Either they were rude or just didnt understand the whole concept, who knows, But right in front of us was another family who did the same thing. At this point I was tired of climbing over legs and said "you know your supposed to move all th way to the left" And this obnoxious woman said back "well they are doing it" So I am a Philly Girl and of course I cant let it go...I replied " well I guess you are as rude as they are." But I kept going and sat down. But a minute later a CM made the other 2 families move down . I was like HA! I turned to the woman and gave her a "I told you so." She didnt even look at me. But the show soon started and all was glittery again,,,I forgot how scary it got and was happy Dh(5) didnt come. Next was RnR coaster. WOW this was my thing. Awesome ride. I wanted to go again but once was enough for my DH :hmmm Then it was time to go to Wait for Fantasmic. We had Middle Front section PERFECT SEATS. I can say this show was INCREDIBLE! Well Worth the wait. We had a late dinner at the hotel and went to bed by Ten. Ouch my feet hurt. PROS: sucessful child swapping Cons :Rude woman at LIL mermaid Stinkin 2 ways didnt work.:madmad

charlene...I know exactly what you went through with the scared child. Last March, our twins, DS4 & DD4 were terrified in "It's Tough to be a Bug." Now DS5 is still leary of going to movies and other shows that are dark to start with.
