We are back!!!!

Had a great vacation!! I didn't know exactly how much fun we would have, or how I could have fun. Two days before our trip our daughter had a car accident. Thank God she didn't get hurt, but the car was totalled. So much to do before the trip, then this happened. I must have aged 10 years when I saw the car.
On a happier note got to meet Judy, Mickaholic, and her Mom, plus Paula. Spent a little time talking to Mickaholic and Judy. Paula couldn't stay, but we did get to just say "HI". It was really nice.
Mickaholic, please tell your Mom we really enjoyed meeting her. What a great lady!!!!
Next visit May 2004. Hope the next trip will be less stressful. Did have a wonderful time, but my mind was just on my daughter back home. She's fine, and the car can be replaced..
I've always said no matter how old they are, you never quit worrying about them.
All in all, the trip was very nice. :) JOANN

You were missed! I heard about Chubby Checker and I think it sounds as though the trip was a total sucess. I'm sorry to hear about your DD and hope she is well. I know how an accident can shake you up a bit. You're are right the car can be replaced. As long as she is ok, then all is well. I can't wait to read that trip report.:) :)

Sorry to hear about your DD. Like you said the car can be replaced and the most important thing is that she is ok.

Welcome back home Joanne. I was so great to have had the chance to meet you and Joe and the other DC'ers. I wish I could have stayed and chatted more but we had PS for Cape May Cafe (our 2nd time the kids just loved it so much). I heard a rumor that Joe was twisting the night away with Chubby. Can't wait to hear all about your trip.

Glad you made it home ok.... The chubby checker show was GREAT!!!!! We really enjoyed it... and we enjoyed meeting you and your DH.... very much.... I did not have a camera do you know if anyone there is going to post pictures.... I hope so... again it was a great time... we were there only two days... but they were fun and we are going back sometime in December not sure yet when... You are very lucky to have your Daughter since it totalled the car....
