My Report - Pop Century, CRT, BnC, and more...
Taking advantage of annual passes this year, we were able to squeeze in a quick Disney visit when we went to FL to visit family. We had 1 full and 2 ½ days there so we decided to spend our first ½ day at EPCOT, the full day at MK, and the other ½ day at MGM. Traveling were myself, my DH, and my 2 ½ yo son. I will be sticking to the highlights of this trip.
Day 1: We arrived about lunchtime so we checked into our hotel (Pop Century – see review here: http://www.disneycentral.com/forum/s...&threadid=8072 ) and went to have lunch at Beaches’n’Cream at the Beach Club Hotel. We had Q&C Vouchers and couldn’t believe all the food that we got. Everything was delicious! The restaurant is a bit small, but luckily it was not a busy time. The sundaes were fabulous! Some of the best vanilla ice cream around! We toured EPCOT the rest of the day. We hit almost all the rides (skipped Test Track and Mission Space since I get so ). Then we did all the countries. We were heading for some dinner when DS fell asleep so we grabbed some turkey drumsticks and headed back to our hotel. They had a really nice food court at PC too. We walked around the resort and then went to bed.(from the character holiday bus in EPCOT)

Day 2
Day 2:
Magic Kingdom all day today! We had breakfast ressies at CRT. I wasn’t expecting too much based on the reviews that I had read, but it was GREAT! The food was really yummy and it was just a lot of fun to be inside the castle (something I have always wanted to do). I didn’t get to write up the review for this yet, but I will add the link when I do. The fairy godmother was the best! She spent SOOOO much time with DS and he was thrilled! She filled his pockets with Mickey glitter and he kept telling me about it all day. The princesses were really nice too, but DS has been watching Beauty and the Beast non-stop so when he saw Belle, he was in LOOOOOOOVE! See for yourself -

Your reviews are great, I hope you are adding them to Review Central as well.

More Day 2
I finally got to see Philharmagic and it was wonderful! I just wish it was a little longer so they could have included another film or 2. Even DS loved the movie and kept his 3D glasses on the whole time! The only issue was when the popping corks during “Be Our Guest” blasted air at his face, but we put our hands up and he loved it all!
We hit all of our favorite rides and to my surprise DS was making ride requests!?! I didn’t think he would be doing that quite yet. He insisted on Dumbo again and again. Jungle Cruise has also become one of his favorites. We had a great time. After the problem with Illuminations our last trip, we decided to skip the fireworks (I’ll have to wait to see them in June). Instead we headed over to AKL to have dinner at Boma’s. Unfortunately the animals were not out that night – not even the longhorned cows which DS liked so much from our last trip. We walked around the overlook but they must have gone inside to warm up. ![]()

Finally, Day 3
Day 3:
We decided to leave for my mom’s house a little later and spent most of the day at MGM. (Since we don’t do the thrill rides and the Backstage Tour is closed for now, there is only about ½ a day of stuff for us to do anyways.) We got off to a late start today since DH and DS wanted to have a relaxing breakfast at the hotel Food Court – as for me, I got the joy of packing all by myself, although that is probably still better than being assisted by DS who likes to “help” by inspecting everything that goes into the suitcase. First stop was Little Mermaid show then off to PlayHouse Disney, although DS was running a low fever so he was not that into dancing with Bear. Next it was time for the Beauty & the Beast show which DS watched so entranced that his popsicle was melting all over the place. We visited with a few characters and then by the time we got to lunch, DS was fast asleep. So DH & I had a nice quiet lunch. We went on the movie ride after lunch. Then we made a quick stop to pick up a few things for our Birthday Buddy (bet you’re wondering who that is, huh???? ) We made one last stop to get my favorite dessert at Disney. It is the giant apples dipped in caramel and then white fudge that they have at the sweets shop in MGM. I STRONGLY recommend them. (I took it back with me and have some left in the fridge now – but not for long. :p ) Then we went back to mom’s house, visited with more family for the rest of the weekend and now we are back home. Pictures are all uploaded and ready for printing tomorrow. And now, my trip report is done too. One last picture for you. Here are my boys at MGM with Tigger.
