Hey all... Well, I'm not sure where to start. We planned to leave at 3:00 PM on Wed which is 6:00 PM in Lisle family time and got out of town around 6:30 PM which wasn't too shabby in my book. Actually, I think the lesson has been learned to pack much earlier and not to work the day you plan to leave ;)

I had no idea my husband was so light-in-the-loafers when it comes to driving. Our trip is usually about 6 1/2 hours but it took 7 1/2 hours last night. Could it have been the fear of losing the radio signal carrying the basketball game??? Hmmmmm... :whistle: Well, the trip took exactly one college basketball game, one Finding Nemo, one Toy Story 2 and a very small part of Dinosaur.

We pulled into Pop Century at exactly 2:00 AM this morning (thus the reason for not checking in....) It was beautiful at night. We had no trouble checking in at all. Needless to say, I didn't even attempt to bother Amy at that hour. I hope to call her when I finish here.

We are assigned to the 50's area C building. Let me just mention to all of those who said that all of the rooms are close to the lot that I have found the ONE building that is not. Next time, I'd make a request.

After getting our things to the room, Maggie Grace and I decided to explore a little at night... and let our neighbors in the rooms next to us get back to sleep ;) It is beautiful. I will say that as far as our room is from the parking lot, it is ridiculously close to the main building.

By the time I got back to the room and got MG to calm down, it was ... YES!... 4:00 AM...

I have just woken up and am attempting to rouse the troops. I'll try to check-in tonight.

Thanks for the pictures and have a wonderful time! Glad to hear that your daughter is feeling better! I am so ashamed to say that I am so envious of you being there, when I've just had such a wonderful trip but - I WANT TO BE BACK:cry: Dana, therapy please.

Ohh what Beautiful pictures!!!! I cant wait till next month .. I just wish I could get over the worry so I could be excited about our stay at Pop Century.

WHOO-Hoooooo............ Hello from Sunny FLORIDA! Y'all.... not rubbing it in but its been 80-something all day! GORGEOUS!!!

Well, as I was posting my first report this morning, Amy left a message that she was in the food court and heading to Blizzard Beach. We had talked about doing this together, but I wasn't sure how hubby would receive the idea. I mean... swimming in February???? :dazed

Well, we got everyone pulled together and headed over to the food court to grab a bite. Contrary to what the menu says on Deb Wills site, they do not serve waffles till 3:00 PM. Just want to make sure no one is counting on it. ;) Well, hubby about passed out when it cost us $62 for breakfast... I had to explain the value of the 4 mugs we bought... (these novices ) Have y'all ever had a chocolate chip croissant thing??? OMG...

Anyway, we ran over to the Nike outlet to grab the kids some new shoes. By the time we got to Blizzard Beach it was about 1:00. I was excited to find Amy, but not real sure about a water park. Let me tell ya.... If ya haven't done one... DO IT!!! We had an absolute blast!!!!

We headed to Tikes Peak where Amy would be but I didn't see her. There was so much to do there, Maggie Grace (our little mermaid) was in HEAVEN!!!

After we'd been there about an hour, I had pretty much given up on Ames and decided to look one last time. I had given up when I saw the cutest little girl who was getting her shirt put on my a woman with curly hair.... I called loudly yet timidly (just in case it wasn't her) "Amy?" She looked up and yelled... ANNE!!! We carried on till everyone in the area was watching. It was a riot! We introduced our sons, Gordon and Declan who had been penpals for several months who immediately took off like old friends. Not 10 minutes later, Kim called to see what I was doing... This thing is coming together!!! She was waiting for the cab and couldn't believe it was 80-something and we were in bathing suits... (actually, I couldn't believe I was in one myself :nervous)

Neither Amy or myself wanted a picture taken in swimsuits so y'all will have to wait until tonight... LOL!!!

Anyway, we made plans to catch up by the pool or at Downtown Disney tonight.

After they left, I hit Summit Plummet... E-GAD!!! I can say I did it... it was interesting. Between a forced enima and a Texas-sized wedgie, I can say that was probably a one-time experience. LOL!!!! :hmmm We hit the wave pool for a bit and then the lazy river. I must say, the Cross Country Creek was wonderful. Maggie Grace and I chilled on the float and just enjoyed the warm sunshine.

We hit MickeyD's on the way back to the room and here I am. I'll post more as I can. Till later.....:love:
