New to the game... HELP!!!

I bet my kids could really whip a nice effort on this game, but I am still struggling to get started! I ended up with no name, I can't change my shirt, and when I go into rooms, I can only wander around aimlessly. I can't even visit my own room.
Am I missing something... like a CLUE?
I also tried to be a friend to another girl, and she ignored me! Waaaahhh!
Anyone who can walk me through this... or who wants to meet me at the virtual park and be my friend and help me figure ANYTHING out, let me know!

Good luck, Miss Disney! I think the game looks interesting, but I've never known Disney to give me anything for free, so I'm worried that there's a catch somewhere.

I found two games!!! This is fast becoming my insane little guilty pleasure. I better watch out, or work is going to fly right out the window while I try to figure out this game!!! Ths is really fun!

I got my DD setup on the game yesterday and she played it for awhile. She has even figured out as to how to make her character wave her hand.

I played a little yesterday and was able to buy my 50 th anniv. shirt. Its funny to watch all the people walk around aimlessly asking each other what to do.

It's pretty cool game!

Hey you guys, while we're on the subject, I cannot get it to display on my computer. Why not? Does it not like Mozilla Firefox? Is that it. I can switch over to IE if I have to.

Do you just get a black screen? It happened to me a lot, then all of a sudden it worked fine.

Try again. Sometimes the load image takes a few minutes to appear. Meantime it is a black screen.

If you are dial-up it will not work.

Remember, this is a Beta Version and it has bugs and lots of work is going on behind the scenes as well. Being kicked out or not being able to log on happens often, but it is getting better.

Since it is still in the Beta testing stage expect some hiccups during the game. I am also hooked on it and am going nuts looking for the hidden Mickeys!! LOL!! I am down to 7 for the Gold Pin and just love playing around VMK. Can't wait until they open Frontier Land and Tomorrow Land!! (I always ask if any DC'ers are in the room.)
