First and foremost it is free game.

It is an interactive family game. With and extremely strict dictonary (so it is safe for the kiddos) Dictonary Dancing takes time to get used to. You have a character that earns credits and explores the Virtual Magic Kingdom. With these credits you can purchase numerous and by numerous, I mean tons of items(clothes, rooms, furniture) for your virtual player. You then use those item to build in your rooms.
(Those are 3 of my rooms that ariel posted, I have about 40)

Those rooms are used for so many different things. Hanging out, trading, trying to win best guest rooms (for games and quests you can design for other players to do)

There are also mini games with-in the game.
These are how you earn credits. You can play fireworks (matching and speed game) Jungle Cruise (taking pictures of animals) which are both single player games.
Or you play Haunted mansion (chatching ghost with a team against other players) and of course my favorite which is Pirates (team game where you get to blow things up.)Morbid pleasure sending my friends to Davey Jones.
These are just a few of the ways to earn credits.

The biggest thing is this is a social game. You make friends and let me tell you they are your friends.
