Hey, I'm a (nearly) famous cheapskate!!
I gotta tell you that I am darn proud of this posting.
 About two years ago I e-mailed Mary Waring from Mousesavers.com (Great site) with a tip. She was kind enough to e-mail me back and said that she might use my tip someday if she could fit it in. Today, I was on her site and sure enough there was my quote!  She is so sweet. Here it is:Reader Stan K offers this tip for those who enjoy a beer or two: "...we almost always go to Downtown Disney for a spell. The kids get to play in the water areas, the ladies shop and the guys get to have a beer and take it all in. Everybody wins. My tip is this: Why pay $4 (or so) a beer when you can simply go to the Pantry and buy one for $1.75? They sell singles there. We asked and were told that since they have a roaming liquor license, it is acceptable to openly drink while in the Downtown Disney area. I realize this may not be the most 'family' mouse tip but hey us big kids need to play also." Is that cool or what!!!

Oh my gosh, I actually remember reading that on Mousesavers a few weeks ago before we left for our trip (when I was trying to cram every possible $ saving idea into my brain!) Little did I know that I was reading another great tip from a fellow DC'er! Congrats on your new found fame, hope you're enjoying all 15 min. of it

Well you can drink openly in the PI section of Downtown Disney, I know they have signs asking you not to cross over to the west side with any drinks. So remember that you have to be careful where you are planning on taking your drink, I have a feeling only the East side and PI have that roaming bar thing.

I think I have a tip posted on her site, too. I just can't remember for the life of me what it is, LOL. It would probably say something about Kim from Keizer, OR...
