I read on another site that Pal Mickey in on sale at Disney's Character Warehouse at the Dolphin Mall in Miami for about $27.99 and they will ship anywhere via UPS for about $10.99. Phone # is 954-846-7161. Will be delivered in 5-10 business days. Other people on the site were ordering right and left and said they had already gotten theirs and they were great (brand new). I called to make sure they were new and not just refurbished and was told they got them directly from the warehouse (still in the boxes), never touched. Disney is just starting a new model next year and wants to get rid of the current ones. The only difference in these and the new model is that the new model will have an extra megabyte of memory. The CM said she didn't know how he could hold anymore memory and this one will do everything the new ones will, but oh well that's disney always trying to improve. When I asked her about shipping it to Texas she laughed and said I had no idea how much fun they were having with these. They were shipping them all over the U.S. and by 9:00 this morning she had already taken four orders herself. Needless to say a Pal Mickey is on his way to Texas as I write this. My debit card was charged $38.94--a lot better than paying $60.00 in the parks.

Thanks for the info! I called the store today and this wonderful woman named Leslie took my order. Anyone thinking about ordering should note, however, that they will not ship direct to WDW resorts for ppl like me who live in Los Angeles and are leaving for Florida on Thanksgiving, however they can ship 2nd-day via UPS for a delivery fee of $18.99.

Just made a purchase of My Pal Mickey from the store in Miami (at 7:00 p.m. CST). Shawn, the nice CM, said they currently had 100 of them in stock. OH, excuse me only 99 since I just ordered mine;) The total, after UPS Standard Ground was only $41.28! CM assured me it was brand new! My DD has been saving up for this wince June and almost has $50.00. She's THRILLED that now whe can start saving for the "really good stuff" she want's when we get there.

By the way, this is the greatest disney site I have ever seen. Ya'll seem like a really great bunch of Disney Addicts!! ;)

I ordered ours on Tuesday, also from Shawn, and received him on Friday (in GA). My total was $38 dollars & some change. And yes, he is the 'real thing'. I opened it right away to check. So great to save a little $!

I just ordered mine! WOO-HOO!!! I forgot to ask if they had a website though- she said that the only reason they are marked down is that they are increasing the memory on the doll for mid 2005 and that is the only difference- they are cleaning out the ones they have now for that reason. I dont care about that- its for a toddler- Santa is gonna rock this year!!
