Where to book flight?
I have enough miles for my upcoming trip to WDW, but if I book myself, I can save money. I can get $800 for my miles, and a few web searches show my flight as $161 per person.
I assume this is flight only - no tax and other fees. So, which website seems to have a good rep, and low 'other fees'? Thanks! Lisa

Re: Where to book flight?
I always go to Travelocity, Orbitz, Expedia, and Cheap Tickets, to see what sales they have and then go directly to the Airlines and see how much the flights are.

Re: Where to book flight?
Jet Blue didnt show up in Travelocity. I thought it was because they didnt have any flights coming out of PR.

Re: Where to book flight?
JetBlue and SouthWest do not have any agreements with any of the GDS systems, which Orbitz and company use to run their sites. Airlines pay hefty commissions to be included, and some of the airlines have found out they can do better on their own.
JetBlue does fly from PR, from both Aguadilla and San Juan. I think everything connects through JFK, so Orlando isn't really an option, unless you really like flying JetBlue.

Re: Where to book flight?
We'll be flying out of Boston (BOS) - Providence (PVD) is an option - although, I can never get non stop from them.
I'm off to check the airlines directly! Thanks!

Re: Where to book flight?
JetBlue is $175 per person round trip, including all taxes. That is non-stop from Boston, and they have 4 flights per day. Of course, the price could be more, depending upon your dates.
From Providence, Southwest flies non-stop, and the price is also $175 per person. I always fly JetBlue if I can, and SW is also an option, but I like JetBlue much better.

Re: Where to book flight?
I'd try Expedia for sure! My daughter and I flew from Las Vegas to Disneyland in September (which is really short, but I hate the 5 hour drive) for $40 ea, each way. That's cheaper than if we'd taken Greyhound!

Re: Where to book flight?
Personally I do not like to book through those online sites because they tack on extra fees. Generally if you find that fare with them, write down the flight numbers, then go over to the airline's website and then select those flights and I bet you nine times out of ten the fare will be about five dollars less.
On the topic of JetBlue and Southwest, I have heard wonders about both of them. I think they are probably the two best airlines out there. I just wish that they both would expand their networks, or atleast have flights from each of the cities of they serve to the other cities they serve. JetBlue flies out of DC, but doesn't fly into Orlando!!!

You might also want to try BestFares. There are great deals even if you're not a member.

Re: Where to book flight?
did anyone else think when they read the subject line of this forum "where to book flight" it said "where to book fight" and therefore thought it was about people fighting by use of books..
or was that just me?
