Magical Express question??

Will they have a grocery stop when you use this or are you out of luck with that??

I's have to say your out of luck on that one. I believe the are using busses with multiple resort stops.

No grocery stop at all. You get on the bus, wait for it to fill up, then they go to the resorts. My guess is that they will have many more people use this than were using Mears. It is possible they may have separate buses for a couple of resorts. So, one bus might do both Port Orleans resorts, or one bus for the three monorail resorts.

So you think they will have more then one bus? Would not want to use if I have to spend the day going from resort to restort till I get to mine? I want to get there and have fun!

They'll most likely have more than one bus, but, as Mickey said, each bus will probably make three to four stops (same as the mears schedule). You're in luck if you're the first stop, but if you're the fourth, get ready for a 1 1/2 hour "ride." I'm sticking with the towncar until I see what really happens with this "perk."

You know what scares me about that is what Mickey said in his post "You get on the bus, wait for it to fill up, then they go to the resorts". How long could that take?
I wish there was someone here who has used this service already. Has it started yet?

If the service is anything like the typical Mears service, they give you a pager (like in a restaurant) and page you when they have enough people to fill a bus. I've never had to wait longer than 20-30 minutes for them to page me, but I've heard of folks waiting for an hour or more. That really puts a dent into your vacation plans -- especially when you know you've got at least an hour's ride ahead of you.

Hopefully Disney has listened to everyone's complaints about Mears and has ironed those concerns out of their service. We shall see in May... !

I never did the Mears. Rented or drove. Did you have to still do your own luggage? With this they say they take care of the luggage. Right?

Yep -- with Mears you dealt with your own luggage. With Magical Express, they take your luggage from the conveyor belt at the airport straight to your room for you! A very cool perk, I think, though, for a control-freak like me, I'd be afraid they'd lose my luggage in transit. Also, our room's never ready when we check into our hotel, and we like to change our clothes and store our luggage before we head out to the parks. If Disney had our luggage, we wouldn't be able to change! :(

Also to do this. HOw they now how much luggage you have? Will we get tags or something in the mail? My room was always ready when I arrived But what good is the room if you can't change? Guess that when you buy your suviours early and be shirts etc

You will get tags, they will only take bags with the Magical express tags on.
My problem would be who will be responsible if the bags go missing? The airline or Disney?
Or what happens if the tags come off the bags????

I talk to my Mom. She is going to call the travel agent and get the answers. About the tags, is there a limit of bags per person. And what happens if all bags don't return?
